Asante Samuel was carted off the field with an unknown injury at Eagles training camp on Sunday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Despite having nine interceptions and making the Pro Bowl, Eagles coach Andy Reid expressed disappointment in the play of cornerback Asante Samuel, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I think Asante knows he needs to have a better year than what he had, even though he was a Pro Bowler" Reid said.
Our View:
Samuel has nice IDP value thanks to his ability to pick the ball. However, he was a poor tackler last season and needs to heed his coaches words. With the trade of Shelden Brown, the Eagles need strong play from Samuel more than ever. They may choose to address the secondary in the upcoming draft.
