According to Pro Football Talk, "nobody wants (free agent running back) Justin Fargas.

Our View:According to the website, the Chiefs, Browns and Eagles have all spurned the former Raider this offseason. Sounds like he could be on the open market for quite some time.

The Browns are not interested in signing Justin Fargas, according to Mary Kay Cabot's (Cleveland Plain Dealer) twitter page.

Our View:Fargas visited Cleveland Thursday, but apparently he did not impress the team. It was recently reported that the veteran running back failed his physical before his release by the Raiders.

According to Sheil Kapadia on Twitter, the Eagles are expected to host free agents Justin Fargas and Hank Baskett on Friday.

Our View:Fargas worked out for the Browns yesterday, but left empty handed. He would serve as a backup for LeSean McCoy in Philly if he makes the cut, which would be a great situation for McCoy owners. As for Baskett, he would serve as an insurance fifth receiver and special teams player. Both seem like good fits.

Justin Fargas is visiting the Browns, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Our View:Fargas was dropped by Oakland for reportedly failing a physical. The Browns could use better depth at running back, but it is uncertain how serious they may be about adding Fargas.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Chiefs have scheduled a visit for recently released running back Justin Fargas.

Our View:The Chiefs have been looking at several available veteran running backs, so this meeting doesn't mean a deal will get done. They have contacted Fargas' agent though. If he lands in KC he would back up Jamal Charles and could vulture some early-down snaps from him.

Updating an earlier report, Justin Fargas was released by Oakland because he failed his physical, according to Adam Caplan's twitter page.

Our View:The Raiders had good enough depth at running back to let him go, with rising stars Darren McFadden and Michael Bush. Fargas dealt with a knee injury last season, and teams may hold off on offering him a deal for a while.
March 6, 2010
Justin Fargas has been released by the Raiders, according to Adam Schefter's (ESPN) twitter page.

Our View:Fargas only averaged 3.8 yards per carry in 2009, but is still talented enough to find work with another team. Darren McFadden should be Oakland's featured back in 2010, assuming he can avoid the injury bug.
March 4, 2010
ESPN's Adam Schefter expects the Raiders to release Justin Fargas sometime soon.

Our View:He has a roster bonus due in the coming days, and the Raiders have no intention of paying it. If he does indeed hit the open market, he should draw a lot of interest as a back-up.

Week 17 inactives: QB J.P. Losman, QB Bruce Gradkowski, RB Justin Fargas, WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, CB Chris Johnson, OT Langston Walker, WR Javon Walker, and DE Greyson Gunheim.

Our View:RB Michael Bush and RB Darren McFadden will share the rushing workload with Fargas inactive due to a knee injury. On defense, SS Tyvon Branch (hip) is active and will start.
