B.J. Askew (neck/back) has been placed on the reserve/non-football injury list, according to the Pewter Report.

Our View:Askew was in a car accident last week and missed Sunday's game against Carolina. Earnest Graham filled in at fullback in his absence, and could continue to do so.

Buccaneers inactives: FB B.J. Askew, QB Byron Leftwich, WR Yamon Figurs, CB Derrick Roberson, C Jonathan Compas, OT Demar Dotson, DE Dre Moore, and DE Kyle Moore.

Our View:Askew is a good blocker, but holds no fantasy value when healthy. Josh Johnson will make another start at quarterback in place of Leftwich.

According to the St. Petersburg Times, Bucs' fullback B.J. Askew has missed practice this week with a back/neck injury after getting in a car accident on Tuesday. Askew will continue to be monitored before a decision is made on his status.

Our View:Coach Raheem Morris said that Earnest Graham will start at fullback if Askew can't go, but the team hopes he will be able to play. The car accident is being described as a fender bender, but it was obviously bad enough that it has forced him out of practice this week.

B.J. Askew has been relegated to the sideline with a hamstring injury for almost the entire season, but the full back should see an increased role in the last quarter of the season, according to the AP.

Our View:Askew will see more carries and catches but he still will not hold any fantasy value.
November 12, 2008
Fullback B.J. Askew appears to be getting closer to his return to action, according to Pewterreport.com. He has been out of the lineup since tearing his hamstring in Week 3 at Chicago.

Our View:Askew will only help the Buccaneers running game but he will have no fantasy value.
