Pro Football Talk reports that wide receiver Kevin Curtis has yet to return to practice.

Our View:Curtis' knee injury has kept him from catching a pass since Week 2, and he is a strong candidate to go on injured reserves some time in the near future. There is no chance of him seeing action in Week 9.

Eagles Week 7 inactives: WR Kevin Curtis, CB Dimitri Patterson, LB Joe Mays, G Max Jean-Gilles, OT Mike McGlynn, LB Omar Gaither, and DE Victor Abiamiri. Kevin Kolb is the team's third quarterback.

Our View:Kolb will likely get the call if Donovan McNabb goes down, but Michael Vick is active as the backup. Curtis is going to miss significant time, and the rest of this group shouldn't hurt the team too much.

According to the Twitter page of NFL writer Adam Caplan, Eagles' wide receiver Kevin Curtis underwent knee surgery this week. No timetable has been set for his return this season.

Our View:The surgery was reportedly not extensive, so it stands to reason that Curtis will be able to come back at some point this year, but you never know. He needed to do something, because the knee was keeping him from seeing any time on the field. We will continue to monitor his situation and keep you updated, but this solidifies Jeremy Maclin's fantasy status.

Eagles' wide receiver Kevin Curtis was out of practice again Thursday with a knee injury, according to the team's official website.

Our View:Curtis isn't improving, and it is starting to look like his season could be in jeopardy. Jeremy Maclin is now the starter opposite DeSean Jackson, so it looks like the fantasy days may be about over for KC.

The Wilmington News Journal's Geoff Mosher reports that Kevin Curtis' knee soreness is not going away.

Our View:Curtis has already been surpassed by Jeremy Maclin on the depth chart, and if he doesn't start to show real improvement soon, there's a chance he could be shutdown.
