November 9, 2009 Jason Witten caught a game-high seven passes for 43 yards in Dallas' Week 9 win over the Eagles. Our View:Witten has had a frustrating season. He saw the most action in Sunday's game, but still wound up with less yards and touchdowns than Miles Austin, who caught just one ball. That's the way it's gone for the elite tight end, and Romo's former favorite target is averaging just 49 yards per week and has only one touchdown on the season. |

October 25, 2009 Jason Witten caught five balls for 53 yards against Atlanta on Sunday. Our View:Witten hasn't done a whole lot this season, but it's not like he's been non-existent either. He's still a fine option at tight end, and there's plenty of reason to think he'll still be one of the top weekly plays at the position going forward. |

September 28, 2009 Jason Witten led the Cowboys in receiving in tonight's 21-7 home win over the Panthers, as he caught nine passes for 77 yards. Our View:The elite tight end failed to reach paydirt, but fantasy owners should still be very pleased with his statline. He has 19 receptions over the first three games of the season. |

September 20, 2009 Jason Witten had five catches for 33 yards and a touchdown as the Cowboys fell 33-31 to the Giants in their home opener. Our View:Tony Romo had an awful night and Marion Barber was the only other Cowboy to have more than one catch. Witten continues to be Romo's security blanket and should put up solid numbers even on nights when his high-profiled quarterback is clearly off. |

January 22, 2009 Jason Witten won't need to undergo surgery on his ailing shoulder, ribs or ankle, according to the Our View:He is expected to play in the Pro Bowl, and the elite tight end should be fine for training camp. He only reached the endzone four times in 2008, but fantasy owners cannot complain with 81 receptions for 952 yards. |
