Kyle Boller has been cleared to play in the Rams' game against the Jaguars this week, according to the team's Twitter page. Boller will serve as the backup to starter Marc Bulger.

Our View:Boller was limited earlier this week after suffering a mild concussion last week, but he will be good to go if needed this week. With the fragile Bulger back behind center, it wouldn't shock anyone if Boller was called upon at some point.

Kyle Boller (mild concussion) was a limited participant in Rams practice on Thursday, according to the team.

Our View:Marc Bulger will be starting for the Rams at quarterback this Sunday, but with his health never a sure thing, the team may be forced to call on Keith Null to play QB if Boller is not cleared medically to play.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Rams quarterback Kyle Boller suffered a mild concussion in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. Marx Bulger is expected to take back his starting spot this week.

Our View:Boller should be fine before long, and he will most likely be available Snday if needed. Boller has looked good at times with the Rams this season, but he is a quarterback that needs good players around him to be successful.

It has been revealed that Rams quarterback Kyle Boller suffered a "mild" concussion on Sunday, and will undergo testing on Tuesday to determine his availability for Week 6, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:Boller was 20-of-31 for 209 yards at the time of the injury on Sunday. Marc Bulger came in and went 7-of-7 for 88 yards and a touchdown in his absence, and is the team's likely Week 6 starter. Stay tuned.

According to the Rams' official Twitter page, Kyle Boller took all of the first-team reps on Thursday at practice, while Marc Bulger took reps with the scout team. Coach Steve Spagnuolo said that Boller is likely to start on Sunday against the Vikings.

Our View:It sounds like Boller will get the nod again this week, and he is in for a long afternoon against the Vikings. He has no fantasy value, and don't expect anything good to happen for the Rams against the powerful Vikes this weekend.
October 4, 2009
Kyle Boller was ineffective in relief of the injured Marc Bulger on Sunday. The Cal product managed to complete 13-of-24 passes, but threw for just 108 yards, adding an interception. He threw no touchdowns in the Rams' 35-0 loss to the 49ers.

Our View:Boller clearly isn't an option unless he is literally the only quarterback available in your league while Bulger is out. It won't get any easier for him next week against Minnesota.
October 2, 2009
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that Kyle Boller will start at quarterback for the Rams on Sunday against the 49ers. Boller has practiced with the first-team all week while Marc Bulger deals with his shoulder injury.

Our View:This news isn't a surprise, as Bulger has not been able to throw all week. Boller looked very solid in relef last week, and if he can lead the Rams to an upset win this week he could find himself the permanent starter.

Kyle Boller, subbing for an injured Mark Bulger, completed 16-of-31 passes with two touchdowns against one interception in the Week 3 loss to Green Bay.

Our View:Bulger was dealing with a sore back entering the game, and appeared to suffer a shoulder injury in the second quarter. He has been somewhat fragile in the past, so Boller could get a couple of more starts depending on how the injury report shakes out next week.
August 27, 2009
Acting as the Rams starting quarterback in Marc Bulger's absence on Thursday night, Kyle Boller completed 14-of-20 passes for 94 yards and a touchdown.

Our View:It was an encouraging performance from a man without much NFL success, and the team has to be resting a little easier with its back-up quarterback situation at this point.
June 5, 2009
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that Rams' backup quarterback Kyle Boller has shown a very strong arm in the team's OTAs thanks to a full recovery from a shoulder surgery he had last September. Boller is set to backup starter Marc Bulger.

Our View:Boller could very well get the opportunity to play at some point this season, as Bulger has a tendency to get hurt. If given the chance, Boller could be productive, but he has no fantasy value at all going into the season.
April 4, 2009
Kyle Boller has inked a deal with the Rams, according to the Kansas City Star. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Head coach Steve Spagnuolo said, "We are happy to add Kyle to our roster. We feel that he will be a valuable addition to our team."

Our View:Boller will serve as the primary backup quarterback behind Marc Bulger. It is uncertain if the team will still sign Gus Frerotte.
March 5, 2009
Quarterback Kyle Boller has paid a free-agent visit to the Oakland Raiders, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Our View:Boller is a first-round bust who spent all of last season on Injured Reserve. He would simply be the backup to JaMarcus Russell.
