March 18, 2010 Chester Pitts is visiting the 49ers, according to Matt Maioco's (Santa Rosa Press-Democrat) twitter page. Our View:Pitts was a quality offensive lineman prior to suffering a season-ending knee injury with Houston in 2009. The team that inks him will be taking a chance that he will bounce back fine. He was also slated to visit Detroit. |

March 15, 2010 Chester Pitts is slated to visit the Lions and 49ers this week, according to the Texans' official website. Our View:Pitts started the first 114 games in franchise history with the Texans, but was taken down by a season-ending right knee injury in 2009. The veteran offensive lineman would like to remain in Houston, but will see what Detroit and San Francisco may have to offer. |

March 10, 2010 Chester Pitts is hoping that the Texans will re-sign him, according to the Detroit Free Press. Our View:Pitts is coming off microfracture surgery, and wants the chance to show Houston he can bounce back healthy. He was a solid starter at left guard prior to injuring his right knee last year. |
