Redskins running back Ladell Betts said that his previously sprained left knee, which kept him out of action for two games, is okay after carrying the ball once for a single yard and catching two passes for 27 yards, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Betts said he knew the knee was not 100 percent before game time, but that he suffered no setbacks and should be good to go from here on out.

Our View:We'll update you on Betts' status when more is known.
November 14, 2008
Ladell Betts is still dealing with his knee injury, but is likely to start over Clinton Portis this weekend against the rival Cowboys, according to the Washington Post. Portis is suffering from a sprained MCL.

Our View:Since Betts is banged up, Shaun Alexander should handle a favorable workload in support, against Dallas' 18th ranked run defense.
