September 29, 2009 MLive.com reports that the Lions brought in running backs Aveion Cason and Kenny Watson for tryouts on Tuesday. Our View:Starting running back Kevin Smith is banged up with a shoulder injury and the Lions interest in more backs raises the question: how hurt is he? He's technically on week-to-week status, but may be worse than the Lions are letting on. However, Cason and Watson have not signed yet. |
