September 6, 2009 David Martin has been released by the Miami Dolphins, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Our View:Martin was a serviceable offensive tight end in 2008, catching 31 balls for 440 yards and three touchdowns, but at age 30, just wasn't in the Dolphins plans any longer. |

Our View:There is belief his groin is bothering him, but the Dolphins are yet to comment. Our View:This is a good sign that Martin will be able to play this weekend, but given the type of injury he suffered (a possible concussion), his outlook could change prior to the game with the Ravens. Friday's practice will be key. |
