According to the Jets' official website, running back Thomas Jones was held out of practice on Wednesday for non-injury reasons.

Our View:The Jets are still being careful with Jones' balky knee. He missed last Wednesday's practice as well, so it's likely just an issue of protection and extra rest. Expect him to be good to go for Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Colts.

Our View:Jones was held out of Wednesday's practice, but the Jets stated that it was solely for rest purposes, so it's not surprising that he returned on Thursday. Expect him and Shonn Greene to get plenty of carries against the Chargers on Sunday, as the Jets will likely rely almost solely on the run.

Our View:Jones did manage to practice in full on Tuesday, so the Jets are likely just giving him a day off to let his troublesome knee recover. He is expected to play in the divisional game against the Chargers on Sunday and has a rather nice matchup against the league's 20th ranked run defense.

Our View:Jones went for 105 yards last weekend, while Greene racked up 95. As a team, New York is averaging an NFL-best 166.6 rushing yards per game this season. Jones will be a solid RB2 this weekend, with Greene being an intriguing flex-play against a Cincinnati team with very little to play for.
