December 30, 2008 The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will likely not retain assistant head coach Larry Coyer and tight ends coach Bob Casullo, reports the Our View:Neither would technically be fired, as their contracts are simply expiring, with the team choosing not to bring them back. |

December 27, 2008 Bucs quarterback Jeff Garcia does not sound like someone who wants to retire, telling the Our View:Garcia has played relatively well this year, with 11 touchdowns to just five interceptions. Depending on where he plays next season, even if it is in Tampa, he could make for a useful depth option for fantasy owners. |

December 25, 2008 Our View:Garcia and Bucs head coach Jon Gruden have had quite the soap opera this season, but the team isn't anxious to spend big bucks on a quarterback. Garcia has had a solid and efficient season when healthy, with a 11/5 TD/INT ratio in 11 games played. |

December 21, 2008 Jeff Garcia completed 21-of-35 passes for 232 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 16. He also rushed six times for 45 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Our View:Garcia had a solid fantasy performance despite a calf injury. He also suffered a nasty cut near his forehead late in the game while running the ball but remained in the contest. |
