The Seahawks are going to interview the Buccaneers' linebacker coach Casey Bradley for their defensive coordinator position, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:This was Bradley's third year with the Bucs and his second as linebackers coach, so he's moving up the NFL ranks pretty quickly.

Coach Rod Marinelli is reportedly set to talk to the Seahawks, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:Newly promoted coach Jim Mora Jr. could add Marinelli to his staff in Seattle as a potential defensive coordinator, if Marinelli does not join Lovie Smith and the Bears. Marinelli will be looking for a fresh start after suffering through an 0-16 campaign with the Lions.

Matt Hasselbeck commented on his recovery from his back ailment, according to the Seattle Times. When asked whether he is still aiming at getting back to work around mid-February, Hasselbeck replied, "I think it'll probably be before that. I'm hopeful to be better by the end of the month. We're probably going to take another picture of it at some point and just kind of evaluate where we are. But all in all, I think that I'll be better before I talk to you guys again."

Our View:He also noted that he definitely expects to be ready to go in time for minicamps, and believes the bulging disk in his back will naturally heal on its own.

The Seahawks will have the fourth overall pick in the 2009 draft after going 4-12 this season, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Our View:The club namely has needs to address at wide receiver, along the offensive line, and at defensive tackle. They will need a quarterback as well if they decide to part ways with Matt Hasselbeck and his troublesome back.
