Joey Galloway is yet to hear from the Chiefs after being released by the Patriots, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Our View:There was a rumor circulating that Galloway was headed to Kansas City for a workout. The Ravens were interested in dealing for Galloway while with New England, so they should talk to him as a free agent.

Updating an earlier report, ESPN's Adam Schefter has confirmed that the Patriots have released veteran wide receiver Joey Galloway.

Our View:Galloway had been a healthy inactive for the Pats' last three games, and had no future in New England. It's a classy move by the team to allow him to sign elsewhere, and not ride out what could be his final season on the bench.

Pro Football Talk is saying it has heard rumors that the New England Patriots have released struggling wide receiver Joey Galloway.

Our View:Galloway has done next to nothing this season, playing in just three games and catching just seven balls. A release would certainly not be surprising. With there being many receiver starved teams out there, he should be able to find a new home if indeed he has been cut.

Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network is linking the Ravens to a possible trade for New England wide receiver Joey Galloway, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View:As of Friday, a team source said the Ravens didn't expect to make any trades before Tuesday's NFL deadline. However, there is some history here because Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome has made deals with Patriots coach Bill Belichick in the past. Regardless, Galloway's best days are in the rearview mirror, so this trade would have little impact from a fantasy perspective.

ESPN.com is reporting that Patriots' wide receiver Joey Galloway will be a healthy scratch yet again this week. Galloway didn't travel with the team and he is still not suffering from an injury.

Our View:Galloway's days as a Patriot are clearly numbered, so there is nothing shocking about this. What will be shocking is if he is still a part of this team a few weeks from now. He is obviously a long way from being a fantasy factor again.
