Joey Galloway suffered through an injury-spoiled 2008 campaign, but coach Jon Gruden said he would like him to return, according to the St. Petersburg Times. Gruden said, "He's got to be healthy, he's got to be an active participant. If he is, we absolutely want him back."

Our View:If Galloway does return, he may serve as the Buccaneers' No. 2 receiver behind Antonio Bryant, who broke out with 83 receptions for 1,248 yards and seven scores in 2008.

The Tampa Tribune reports that Jon Gruden is leaning towards implementing wide receiver Joey Galloway (foot) in Week 16.

Our View:The veteran has appeared in just seven games, and he's caught only 12 balls. His production has been one of the more disappointing fantasy story lines of the season. We would not recommend adding him to your rosters.

Our View:Jeff Garcia (calf) is inactive and Brian Griese will start in his place. On the other side of the ball, defensive tackle Jovan Haye (knee) is active and will start.

It has been revealed that Joey Galloway had been dealing with a broken foot and not a sprain earlier in the season, according to the St. Petersburg Times.

Our View:Galloway is now believed to be fully healthy, but has taken a back seat to Antonio Bryant as the top target in the Buccaneers' passing attack. He did not have a reception last week against the Vikings and remains a risky fantasy option despite a great match-up against the Lions in Week 12.

Wide receiver Joey Galloway (foot) is questionable on the injury report, but has increased his workload in practice this week more than any other this season, and is on track to play in Week 8 against Dallas, according to Steve Wyche of the NFL Network.

Our View:Galloway would give the Buccaneers another deep threat on the opposite side of Antonio Bryant and eat into the looks of Michael Clayton in the process. We will have definitive word on his status when the inactive reports drop in about one hour.
