Terrell Owens has vowed to change his last name to "Ocho Uno" if he becomes a member of the Cincinnati Bengals next season, according to the Sporting News.

Our View:Chad Ochocinco is lobbying hard for the move to happen, but so far, there have been no indications that the Bengals plan on pursuing T.O. Stay tuned.

Chad Ochocinco apparently told Fox Sports' Jay Glazer that he believes Terrell Owens will be his teammate on the Bengals next year.

Our View:We should obviously all know by now to take Ochochinco word for what it's worth, though Owens donning a Bengals jersey could make a bit of sense. He's a free agent who's not expected to be re-signed by Buffalo, and Cincinnati probably wouldn't put too much weight into his character concerns.

The Buffalo News doesn't believe wide receiver Terrell Owens will be back with the Bills in 2010.

Our View:The paper goes as far as saying it's a "virtual lock" that he will not be back. At age 36, as evidenced by his 55 catches, 829 yards and six touchdowns this season, he still has something left in the tank, but his usefulness on the rebuilding Bills is minimal. After a controversy-free season, he should be able to find a suitor for 2010.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Bills' dream candidate to be their next head coach, Bill Cowher, is not likely return to the league in 2010.

Our View:Could it be because his two most logical landing spots, Carolina and Tampa Bay, both already have coaches in place? Unless John Fox ends up walking away from the Panthers, it appears safe to assume Cowher will be back in CBS' game day studios next season.

According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the Bills have fired their entire coaching staff.

Our View:That staff was lead by interim coach Perry Fewell after head coach Dick Jauron was fired at midseason. Considering the Bills' sustained mediocrity the past five seasons (no more than seven wins, no fewer than five), it's clear a change of philosophy is needed in Buffalo. Bill Cowher appears to be their dream candidate, though his hiring would be unlikely.

Terrell Owens had four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 victory over Indianapolis.

Our View:Owens passed Tim Brown for third on the NFL's career yards receiving list on a six-yard catch six minutes into the fourth quarter. T.O. now has 14,951 receiving yards, and is one of six NFL players with over 1000 catches in his career.
