August 15, 2009 John Carney has re-signed with the Saints, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Contract terms were not disclosed. Our View:Garrett Hartley is facing a four-game suspension for undisclosed reasons, and the club brought Carney back for insurance. He scored 143 points with the Giants last season, and could be a No. 1 fantasy kicker with New Orleans if he passes Hartley on the depth chart. |
