November 20, 2009 San Francisco 49ers' wide receiver Michael Crabtree is expected to play Sunday against the Packers, according to the Our View:Crabtree is listed as probable this week, so expect him to take the field against the Pack. He has struggled over the last few weeks, but he should improve as he continues to develop a relationship with quarterback Alex Smith. |

November 8, 2009 Michael Crabtree caught just three passes for 30 yards in week 9. Our View:Many expected this to be the week where Crabtree broke out, but he was held in check by an unimpressive Titans secondary. He was targeted nine times, but it appears that he and Alex Smith haven't formed a fluid working relationship just yet. Expect his numbers to increase as they get more comfortable with each other down the road. |

November 1, 2009 Michael Crabtree had six receptions for 81 yards in the Week 8 loss to Indianapolis. Our View:After two games, Crabtree has posted 11 receptions for 137 yards, which is pretty impressive for a player who only signed about a month ago. The rookie has yet to crack the end zone, but he represents a serviceable No. 3 fantasy wideout or solid bench depth in PPR formats. |

October 30, 2009 Despite Michael Crabtree finally signing with the San Francisco 49ers this month, the league is still pursuing tampering allegations the team made against the New York Jets in regards to the rookie receiver earlier this season, according to Our View:49ers coach Mike Singletary is not the kind to let things go, and he could be sending a message from the rest of the league to the new brash regime in New York. Nothing seems likely to come of it, however, except for maybe a humbling. |

October 25, 2009 Michael Crabtree posted five receptions for 56 yards in the Week 7 loss to Houston. Our View:All things considered not a bad professional debut for Crabtree, who missed the offseason program, training camp, as well as the entire preseason and first five regular season games. Regardless, don't look for much progress next week at Indianapolis, as the Colts are brutal against the pass. |
