Stoudemire exits before pre-World Championship Tour
Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - Forward Amare Stoudemire will miss the USA's exhibition game against Puerto Rico Thursday evening and will not travel with the team during its pre-World Championship tour.

"During the past few days of our training camp we concluded that it would be difficult for Amare to continue with the rehabilitation he needs to do while the team continues its training in Asia," USA Basketball senior national team managing director Jerry Colangelo said. Newsbreakers
Tim Duncan, CTuesday 3/16, 9:10 PM CT
Tim Duncan double-doubled in Tuesday's win over the Heat, but recorded just 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Our View:The double-double is nice for owners, but the 12 points are somewhat disappointing considering Duncan is averaging almost 19 per game this season. His 5-of-15 shooting effort certainly has something to do with the poor total.
Manu Ginobili, GTuesday 3/16, 9:05 PM CT
Manu Ginobili led the Spurs once again on Tuesday. This time it was his 22 points and five rebounds that propelled them to an 88-76 win over the Heat.

Our View:Ginobili was 7-of-14 from the field and made good on two of his five attempts from behind the arc. He's now started five straight games after spending most of the season on the bench, and has responded well scoring 22 or more in three of those five.
Matt Bonner, FSaturday 3/13, 11:04 PM CT
Matt Bonner banged in a team-high 21 points off the bench in tonight's 118-88 home win over the Clippers. He also had three rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Our View:Bonner broke out after averaging just 7.3 points over his previous three games. He also scored his most points since December 7, when he notched 28 at Utah.
