Thaddeus Young, F Saturday 11/21, 9:02 PM CT
Thaddeus Young scored 21 points in a game-high 46 minutes on Saturday night, but Philadelphia would still go on to lose 97-91 to the Cavaliers.

Our View: The 21 points where the most he had scored since putting up 25 on Halloween.
Elton Brand, F Saturday 11/21, 8:59 PM CT
Embattled forward Elton Brand reeled off his third straight solid game on Saturday night, scoring 18 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in Philadelphia's loss to Cleveland.

Our View: Brand looks to be motivated after talk of being benched, and if he keeps this up for a few more games, he might be safe to declare "back."
Elton Brand, F Friday 11/20, 8:58 PM CT
Elton Brand put together his second straight strong performance on Friday as the Sixers fell to the Grizzlies 102-97. Brand scored 22 points, grabbed six boards, and added four steals in the game.

Our View: Brand has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments in the league so far this season, but he has shown why many consider him an elite talent over the last two nights. Owners need to hope that he is back on track for good, but he will need to put together more than two good outings if he wants to prove that he is back.
Louis Williams, G Friday 11/20, 8:55 PM CT
Louis Williams scored a team-high 31 points on Friday, but the Sixers fell to the Grizzlies by a score of 102-97. Williams had five assists and two rebounds as well in the contest.

Our View: Williams has really come into his own this season, as he is averaging 15 points and 5.1 assists per game. He has been under the fantasy radar for a few seasons, but fantasy owners in all leagues know who he is now.
Elton Brand, F Wednesday 11/18, 10:00 PM CT
Elton Brand got the job done for the Sixers in Wednesday's 86-84 win over the Bobcats, as he generated 19 points, 11 boards, two assists, three steals and six blocks.

Our View: Brand had a great outing for fantasy owners, and perhaps he was motivated to keep his starting gig at power forward following a disappointing start.
Elton Brand, F Wednesday 11/18, 9:28 AM CT
The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that Elton Brand may not start Wednesday night's game against the Bobcats. The team has not released a starting lineup as of yet, but there is speculation that Rodney Carney may start in Brand's place.

Our View: Brand has only averaged 9.8 points and 5.3 rebounds a game this year, so this move wouldn't shock anyone. He has been one of the biggest disappointing free agent acquisitions in recent memory for the Sixers, and it doesn't look to be getting any better.
Marreese Speights, C Sunday 11/15, 3:06 PM CT
Marreese Speights is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks after partially tearing his left MCL, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: Speights was making an early bid for the sixth man award, averaging 13 points and 6.4 rebounds per game off the bench. Elton Brand really needs to step things up now.
Andre Iguodala, G Saturday 11/14, 10:13 PM CT
Andre Iguodala scored a game-high 24 points in tonight's 94-88 loss at Chicago, to go along with five rebounds, six assists and one steal. He made 3-of-6 shots from three-point range.

Our View: It was another good night at the office for the star small forward. He topped 20 points for the third time over his last five games.
Elton Brand, F Saturday 11/14, 8:34 AM CT
The Philadelphia News is reporting that Sixers' GM Ed Stefanski is denying that the team has made big man Elton Brand available. Brand is averaging just 9.7 points in nine games this season.

Our View: This comment by Stefanski comes on the heels of an ESPN report quoting two anonymous NBA GM's claiming that the team put him on the block, but it appears they have no intention of moving Brand. He has been a gigantic diasppointment, but even if he were available it would tough to move his contract.
Thaddeus Young, F Friday 11/13, 8:40 PM CT
Thaddeus Young led the Sixers with 17 points in Friday's 112-90 loss to the Jazz.

Our View: Young was a last second addition to the lineup and owners benefited if they checked his status before the game. He hit 8-of-10 shots, including one from behind the arc, and recorded three rebounds and a steal as well. He now has 37 points and eight rebounds in his last two contests.
Andre Iguodala, G Friday 11/13, 8:36 PM CT
Andre Iguodala recorded a double-double in Friday's 112-90 loss to the Jazz on Friday with 11 points and ten assists.

Our View: Iguodala actually just missed a triple-double, grabbing seven rebounds in the contest as well. His point total was a bit low, but the Sixers star set season highs in assists and blocked shots (4).
Thaddeus Young, F Friday 11/13, 6:27 PM CT
According to Kate Fagan on Twitter, 76ers forward Thaddeus Young (shoulder spasm) is expected to play on Friday night.

Our View: Feel comfortable activating Young in fantasy lineups as the shoulder no longer seems to be an issue. He's averaging 13.8 PPG this season.
Elton Brand, F Wednesday 11/11, 9:08 PM CT
Elton Brand had just five points and six rebounds on Wednesday night, as the 76ers narrowly beat the Nets, 82-79.

Our View: Another pathetic showing for the Sixers' big-money man. He's a multi-million dollar albatross in Eddie Jordan's full-court system, and his days would likely be numbered in Philly were it not for his gargantuan contract.
Thaddeus Young, F Wednesday 11/11, 9:06 PM CT
Thaddeus Young's 20 points and five rebounds helped the 76ers squeeze by the Nets 82-79 on Wednesday night.

Our View: The 20-point effort was his first in five games. Young still isn't a superb fantasy option at forward, but he continues to develop into an above-average one.
Marreese Speights, C Monday 11/9, 8:53 PM CT
Marreese Speights had another strong night off the bench on Monday, but it came in a losing effort as the Sixers fell to the Suns. Speights scored 20 points and had eight rebounds in the game.

Our View: Speights has been outstanding off the bench this season, as he has scored 13.5 points and grabbed nearly seven boards in reserve duty. His fantasy stock should remian solid even if he keeps coming off the bench.
Andre Iguodala, G Monday 11/9, 8:49 PM CT
Andre Iguodala was 11-for-17 shooting for 24 points on Monday in the Sixers' 119-115 loss to the Suns. Iguodala had nine rebounds and one assist in the game as well.

Our View: Iguodala hit two three-pointers on the night as well, and he put togther a nice performance in a losing effort. The Sixers are 3-4 on the season, but Iguodala has scored 24 points in back-to-back days.
Marreese Speights, C Sunday 11/8, 2:52 PM CT
Marreese Speights had 15 points, six rebounds and two blocks off the bench on Sunday, but Philadelphia still lost 88-81 in Detroit.

Our View: Speights has been brilliant off the bench so far this season, and is an early candidate for the sixth man of the year.
Andre Iguodala, G Sunday 11/8, 2:50 PM CT
Andre Iguodala led the 76ers with 24 points and four steals on Sunday, but couldn't lead them to victory, as Detroit won 88-81 in Michigan.

Our View: He added six rebounds and four assists. The 24 points were his second most of the season.
Louis Williams, G Friday 11/6, 10:40 PM CT
Louis Williams was a standout for the Sixers in Friday's 97-94 win over the Nets, as he generated 18 points, nine rebounds, six assists and a steal. He also made 2-of-5 shots from three-point range.

Our View: Williams has been performing very well for Philadelphia in the early going, and his fantasy stock is on the rise.
Andre Iguodala, G Tuesday 11/3, 10:12 PM CT
Andre Iguodala scored a team-high 17 points in Tuesday's 105-74 loss to Boston. He also had one rebound, three assists and three steals.

Our View: Iguodala had a decent outing, but scored below his season averages. The Sixers don't play again until Friday against the Nets.
