Chris Douglas-Roberts, G Saturday 11/21, 3:10 PM CT
Chris Douglas-Roberts led all scorers with 24 points in Saturday's 98-91 loss to the Nets.

Our View: CDR hit 11-of-19 shots from the field and chipped in with four rebounds in the contest as well. He's on a roll right now, as he's scored 24, 31 and 27 points in each of his last three games respectively.
Brook Lopez, C Saturday 11/21, 3:04 PM CT
Brook Lopez put up 18 points, 12 rebounds and a pair of assists in Saturday's loss to the Knicks.

Our View: Lopez also recorded four blocks and now has 35 on the season. The double-double was his fifth of the year, and he just missed reaching the 20-point plateau for the sixth time.
Courtney Lee, G Saturday 11/21, 11:06 AM CT
The Bergen Record reports that Courtney Lee (groin) will not play in Saturday's game.

Our View: Lee practiced on Friday, but still isn't healthy enough to get into a game. He's missed seven straight for the winless Nets, but expects to return on Tuesday against the Nuggets.
Devin Harris, G Saturday 11/21, 11:03 AM CT
According to the Bergen Record, Devin Harris will come off the bench in Saturday's game.

Our View: Harris should see plenty of time in his return from injury, but the Nets want to be careful with him. A nagging groin has limited him to just two games this season, but he appears to be ready to contribute in fantasy lineups once again. Rafer Alston's value, on the other hand, now takes a significant hit.
Courtney Lee, G Thursday 11/19, 8:20 AM CT
Courtney Lee will return to the Nets lineup on "Saturday or shortly thereafter," according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View: The word came straight from the mouth of GM Rod Thorn. With Devin Harris also set to return to the lineup this weekend, the Nets should not remain winless for too much longer.
Devin Harris, G Thursday 11/19, 8:18 AM CT
Devin Harris (groin) says he will make his return to the Nets lineup on Saturday, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View: Harris last played on October 30: His team's record in his absence? 0-10. Although he will be rusty, he's now the kind of player that warrants immediate insertion into your lineup, regardless of his health status.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, G Wednesday 11/18, 11:04 PM CT
Chris Douglas-Roberts scored a game-high 31 points in Wednesday's 99-85 loss at Milwaukee, to go along with 10 boards, three assists and three steals. He played just under 45 minutes.

Our View: The second-year guard is having a solid campaign, and set a new single-game high in scoring for 2009-10. He averages 24.6 points over his last three games.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, G Tuesday 11/17, 9:42 PM CT
Chris Douglas-Roberts scored a game-high 27 points and came down with 12 boards in Tuesday's loss to the Pacers.

Our View: CDR hit 11-of-25 shots from the field and set a new season-high point total. He's still only 80 percent healthy, after missing considerable time with H1N1, so if this is not him at his best, we can't wait to see what's in store down the road.
Brook Lopez, C Tuesday 11/17, 9:34 PM CT
Brook Lopez collected 26 points and 16 rebounds on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough as the Nets fell to the Pacers 91-83.

Our View: Lopez blocked an impressive five shots in the game as well and had an all-around fantasy gem. He had three double-doubles coming into Tuesday's game, but this effort was by far his finest of the season. His point and rebound totals are current highs.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, G Tuesday 11/17, 3:01 PM CT
Nets' guard Chris Douglas-Roberts will return to the starting lineup Tuesday against the pacers, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. CDR has been recovering from a bout of swine flu.

Our View: CDR said he is still only about 80 percent, but he is well enough to go tonight. He might not bring the offense to the table as much over the next few games, but he should be fine once he gets his strength back.
Brook Lopez, C Saturday 11/14, 9:53 PM CT
Brook Lopez was productive in tonight's 81-80 loss at Miami, as he collected 17 points, nine rebounds, one assist and three blocks.

Our View: Lopez fell one rebound short of claiming his fourth double-double of the season. He bounced back after being held to four points and five boards over 31 minutes in his previous outing against Orlando.
Rafer Alston, G Friday 11/13, 8:53 PM CT
Rafer Alston earned a triple-double in Friday's 88-72 loss to the Magic on Friday.

Our View: Alston scored a team-high 17 points and collected ten rebounds and ten assists in the game. He hit just 7-of-10 shots in the contest, but owners won't complain about a triple-double. Not only was it his first of the season, but he had failed to reach double digits in rebounds or assists in any other game this season. Pat yourself on the back if you started him.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, G Friday 11/13, 2:27 PM CT
Chris Douglas-Roberts will see limited minutes if he plays on Friday night, according to the New York Daily News. He is recovering from a bout with swine flu.

Our View: CDR was picked by many to have a breakout campaign this season, and has so far not disappointed, averaging 15.6 points through five games played. He's worth a flier in all formats.
Courtney Lee, G Friday 11/13, 2:25 PM CT
Courtney Lee will be out both Friday and Saturday as he continues to battle a groin injury, according to the New York Daily News.

Our View: Lee was thought but to be almost back, but mildly aggravated the injury on Thursday. The next possible day he could return is next Tuesday against the Pacers.
Courtney Lee, G Thursday 11/12, 10:43 AM CT
According to the Newark Star-Ledger, after missing Wednesday's contest Courtney Lee (groin) is questionable for Friday's game against the Magic.

Our View: Lee has begun doing some side-to-side cutting drills, but still isn't quite 100 percent. He apparently wants to continue to test the injury and if he feels even the slightest pain in his groin, he'll rule himself out for Friday's game. At this point it doesn't sound good.
Terrence Williams, F Wednesday 11/11, 9:58 PM CT
Terrence Williams notched a double-double in tonight's 82-79 loss to Philadelphia, with 10 points and 12 boards. He also had two assists.

Our View: The rookie picked up his second double-double of the season, and his fantasy stock is pointed up. He is worth targeting as a flier if dangling on the waiver wire.
Brook Lopez, C Wednesday 11/11, 9:54 PM CT
Brook Lopez was a standout for the Nets in tonight's 82-79 loss to the Sixers, as he generated a game-high 23 points and 14 boards. He also chipped in one assist, one steal and one block.

Our View: Lopez topped 20 points in three straight games, and collected his third double-double of the season. The second-year pro should continue to take care of business as a No. 1 fantasy center.
Devin Harris, G Wednesday 11/11, 11:40 AM CT
Devin Harris and Courtney Lee took part in shooting drills for the second straight day on Wednesday, but neither player is expected to play against the 76ers, according to the New York Daily News. Both players are dealing with groin injuries.

Our View: The Nets will only have eight healthy players available tonight, as they have been devastated by injury early in the season. It's good to see Harris and Lee back on the court, but they won't be of any help to fantasy owners tonight.
Devin Harris, G Tuesday 11/10, 2:02 PM CT
Devin Harris practiced on Tuesday for the first time since injuring his groin on October 30, according to the Newark Star-Leger.

Our View: He did some "catch-and-shoot" and some running. He isn't expected back until early December, but that could be bumped up if he starts having some good practices.
Courtney Lee, G Tuesday 11/10, 1:58 PM CT
Courtney Lee will almost certainly be out Wednesday as he deals with a groin injury, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View: With Devin Harris also still out, this would leave the Nets very thin in the back-court against the 76ers. Lee is day-to-day.
Brook Lopez, C Saturday 11/7, 9:21 PM CT
Brook Lopez led all players in scoring on Saturday, but the Nets fell for the seventh consecutive time this season. Lopez had 23 points and seven rebounds as the Nets lost to the Celtics by ten.

Our View: Lopez is getting nearly 18 points and eight boards this season, and he has been one of the only reasons for fans to show up to watch this team. With Devin Harris and Chris Douglas-Roberts out, Lopez has even more pressure on his shoulder to get this team a win.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, G Saturday 11/7, 7:54 PM CT
Updating a previous report, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting that New Jersey Nets' guard Chris Douglas-Roberts has been diagnosed with the swine flu. CDR missed the team's last game Friday with flu-like symptoms.

Our View: Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for the Nets, one of the only bright spots on the team this season gets hit with the swine flu. The team has taken all precautionary measures to contain the illness, but it looks like he could miss some time.
Courtney Lee, G Saturday 11/7, 9:19 AM CT
Courtney Lee could miss a few games as he battles a groin injury, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View: Lee is averaging 11.8 points per game through six games for his new team this season. He is a very fringe fantasy option.
Brook Lopez, C Friday 11/6, 10:44 PM CT
Brook Lopez had a good outing in Friday's 97-94 loss at Philadelphia, as he racked up 22 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks.

Our View: The young center got the job done for fantasy owners tonight, and collected his second double-double.
Devin Harris, G Thursday 11/5, 3:54 PM CT
According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Nets' point guard Devin Harris could miss up to another month due to his groin injury. Harris said he will miss at least two more weeks with the injury.

Our View: Harris will be evaluated after two weeks, and if he is not 100 percent he said he will sit out another two weeks. This is starting to become a very frustrating situation for fantasy owners, but hang tight and he will be worth it when he gets healthy.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, G Thursday 11/5, 2:58 PM CT
The Newark Star-Ledger is reporting that Nets' guard Chris Douglas-Roberts is not traveling with the team to Philadelphia due to an illness. CDR either has the flu or an extremely bad cold.

Our View: The Nets have been decimated by injury already this season, so they can ill-afford to lose CDR, who has been their best player over the last week or two. We will update his condition before the game tomorrow, but it seems very likely that he will be out.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, G Wednesday 11/4, 9:47 PM CT
Chris Douglas-Roberts led the Nets in scoring yet again on Wednesday in New Jersey's loss to the Nuggets. Douglas-Roberts had 19 points and seven rebounds in the game.

Our View: CDR continues to produce while Devin Harris is sidelined, and the team will need him even more now that Yi is expected to miss four weeks or so. While these guys are out, it would be a good idea to give CDR a chance on your roster if he is available.
Yi Jianlian, F Wednesday 11/4, 12:20 PM CT
Updating a previous report, Yi Jianlian's knee injury has been diagnosed as a Grade 1 sprain, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. He will be out from 2-6 weeks.

Our View: No telling exactly how long he'll be out, as the timetable is quite broad, but this type of injury typically heals within a month. Eduardo Najera, Bobby Simmons, Josh Boone and Sean Williams will benefit from Jianlan's absence and should see an increase in playing time, but none are fantasy worthy. Jianlan averaged 9.8 PPG and 7.5 RPG before injuring the knee.
Yi Jianlian, F Tuesday 11/3, 3:19 PM CT
InsideHoops.com is reporting that Yi Jianlian is out indefinitely after spraining his knee in the Nets loss to the Bobcats on Monday.

Our View: Yi is averaging 9.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game through four games this season. He missed a combined 37 games with injury in his first two years in the league, so this certainly comes as no surprise. His injury will likely force the Nets to give Eduardo Najera more playing time.
Yi Jianlian, F Monday 11/2, 9:11 PM CT
Yi Jianlian left Monday's game against the Bobcats with a knee injury. He did not return to action after being helped of fthe floor by teammates.

Our View: We will update Yi's condition when it is released by the team, so stay tuned. The Nets can't afford to be without him for long, as they are already without starting point guard Devin Harris.
Brook Lopez, C Monday 11/2, 8:51 PM CT
Brook Lopez scored 18 points in the Nets 79-68 loss to the Bobcats on Monday. Lopez had five rebounds and four blocks in the contest as well.

Our View: Lopez is scoring the ball for the Nets, but he has yet to become a force on the boards consistently. Despite his 15 rebound performance in the opener, he was still only averaging 7.7 a game heading into tonight. He also had seven turnovers tonight, which was more than the six he had in all of the team's previous three games.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, G Monday 11/2, 8:46 PM CT
Chris Douglas-Roberts led the way for the Nets on Monday, but New Jersey fell to the Bobcats by a score of 79-68. Douglas-Roberts finished with 20 points, six rebounds, and an assist in the game.

Our View: CDR has been very good over the last two games, as he has averaged over 20 points over that span. With the injuries to the team, CDR might be the next best fantasy option in New Jersey after Brook Lopez.
Devin Harris, G Monday 11/2, 7:36 PM CT
The Score is reporting that Nets' guard Devin Harris will be out indefinitely due to his groin injury. Harris aggravated the injury in Friday's game against the Magic.

Our View: Harris is expected to miss at least ten days, but this news means he could be out for more. Fantasy owners should be concerned, as he has struggled with injuries throughout the preseason and into the regular season. We will keep you updated on his status going forward.
Devin Harris, G Sunday 11/1, 8:31 AM CT
According to the New York Post, Nets' point guard Devin Harris will miss seven-to-ten days due to his strained groin. Harris aggravated the injury in Friday's loss to the Magic.

Our View: The Nets don't sound optimistic about this diagnosis, and they feel ten days is the minimum amount of time he could miss. Harris owners knew the injury risk when you drafted him, but he is worth it as long as he comes back at 100 percent.
