Wizards' beat writer Michael Lee is reporting on Twitter that guard Mike Miller is probable for Saturday's game against the Pistons. Miller is expected to play after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Our View:The team expects Miller to go tonight, but they haven't offically announced that he will do so. Expect him to play, but Antawn Jamison and Randy Foye are both likely to remain out.

Mike Miller did non-contact drills at practice on Thursday, according to the Twitter page of beat writer Michael Lee. Miller is still expected to return to action on Saturday after missing time with a shoulder injury.

Our View:Miller is on track to return this weekend, and just in time for the Wizards, who are desperate to get some depth back at guard. Miller and Antawn Jamison are both scheduled to return this weekend, so the team is on its way to getting healthy.

Mike Miller, who has been out since November 4 with a shoulder injury, could return to the Wizards lineup this Saturday against the Pistons, according to ESPN's Ric Bucher.

Our View:He has missed only two games to this point. So far this season, he is averaging over eight points and rebounds per game.

Wizards' guard Mike Miller left Wednesday night's loss to the Heat with a shoulder injury, according to the Washington Post. The team expects Miller to miss 7-to-10 days at least with the injury.

Our View:The injury is reportedly a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder, so expect him to miss a few games over the next two weeks or so. He is averaging only 8.4 points a game, but his 8.2 rebounds are much better than expected.
October 18, 2009
Mike Miller could be the Wizards' starting shooting guard this season, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:He has been shooting the ball well in preseason, especially from beyond the three-point arc. Three pointers and rebounds is where his fantasy value lies.
October 14, 2009
Mike Miller had a nice night for the Wizards in their preseason game against the Cavs on Wednesday. Miller scored 24 points and added five rebounds and three assists in the 109-104 win.

Our View:Miller was absolutely on fire shooting the ball tonight. He was 9-for-12 from the field including a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc. He is a shooter, and he can have nights like this where he can't miss, but he also has nights where he can't hit. Don't expect him to do nearly this much shooting during the regular season.

Along with Randy Foye, Mike Miller has been traded to the Wizards for Etan Thomas, Oleksiy Pecherov, Darius Songaila and the number five pick in this Thursday's draft, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Our View:The Wizards had been actively shopping the number five pick, so this trade comes as little surprise. Miller and Foye hardly seem like the kind of quality a team would normally get in return for such a high pick, but Washington reportedly wanted veterans because they believe they can compete in the Eastern Conference if their core is healthy.
April 13, 2009
Mike Miller had 18 points, 10 rebounds, nine rebounds, and four three-pointers in Minnesota's 96-94 loss to the Mavericks.

Our View:This is the second time in as many games that Miller has nearly missed a triple-double. Overall, his season was a major disappointment, but he has had some nice stretches of all-around production. His status for next season will largely depend on his role with the Timberwolves.
April 11, 2009
Mike Miller just missed a triple-double in Minnesota's 110-97 loss to the Suns on Saturday. He totaled ten points, nine rebounds and nine assists.

Our View:Miller's assist and rebound totals have been consistently solid in all five games he played this month, but his points have been up and down. His last five games he recorded totals of 10, 6, 5, 7 and 14.
March 29, 2009
Mike Miller scored a season-high 22 points in 38 minutes in Minnesota's 108-99 win over New Jersey on Sunday.

Our View:More of a passer, the 29-year-old shooting guard took a season-high 14 field-goal attempts. He also nearly surpassed his point total from his previous five games combined.
March 25, 2009
The AP reports that Mike Miller "pulled up lame" during the fourth quarter of Wednesday's 96-88 loss to the Timberwolves.

Our View:No word what the injury is or how serious it is. There was no mention of Minnesota coming up lame in the two seasons since dealing away Kevin Garnett.
March 11, 2009
Mike Miller had 18 points, 11 rebounds, three treys, and three assists in 29 minutes as the Timberwolves beat the Grizzlies 104-79 on Wednesday.

Our View:Miller has been a mystery this season, and right now he is rebounding at the best rate in his career. However, this is probably only a fad. Miller has brought variety to streakiness all season.
February 25, 2009
Mike Miller was in the starting lineup for the seventh straight game and hit 9-of-11 shots as the Timberwolves fell to the Jazz 120-103 on Wednesday. He finished with 21 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Our View:Miller is averaging 14.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game since re-entering the starting lineup. Miller may be on your waiver wire, and if he is, consider picking him up.
February 24, 2009
Mike Miller managed just nine points for Minnesota in their 118-110 loss to the Raptors on Tuesday. He did manage 12 rebounds in the loss.

Our View:Miller has been cold and is not much of a fantasy option for a shooting guard. Even his high rebound total on Tuesday does not help his cause to get into your lineup.
February 17, 2009
Minnesota's Mike Miller scored 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting while also pulling down eight rebounds and dishing six assists in the T-Wolves' 111-103 loss to the Wizards.

Our View:Miller has not been scoring much recently and is not much of a fantasy option at this point. The 18 points he scored were the most since December 1.
January 31, 2009
The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that Timberwolves swingman Mike Miller could be traded, and both New Jersey and Cleveland are said to be interested. "This is my ninth year in the league and I've been on the trading block at the deadline every year, I think," Miller said.

Our View:If he is traded, the team would be Miller's third in less than a year. He was shipped from Memphis to Minnesota as part of the deal that sent O.J. Mayo to Memphis and Kevin Love to the T'Wolves.
January 26, 2009
Coach Kevin McHale shot down the rumor that Mike Miller is on the trading block, according to the Star Tribune. McHale said, "This is the NBA. If a good trade comes along, you do something. But I would like to keep the core of this group together and let them develop into what they can be. Mike Miller is not on the market. Someone told me that, that is not true."

Our View:Miller has not been shooting well as of late, but McHale is not concerned and still has confidence in him. This is encouraging, but Miller has only reached double-digits in scoring once this month.
January 22, 2009
Mike Miller is reportedly on the Nets' radar as a trade option, according to the Star-Ledger.

Our View:Miller has been a disappointment with Minnesota, and could benefit from a fresh start in New Jersey, but the Wolves are believed to be looking for a young player in return, which the Nets are not willing to surrender.
January 20, 2009
Mike Miller has been ineffective as of late, but won't blame his bout with a badly sprained ankle, according to the Star Tribune. He said, "It's not where I want it to be, but it's not an excuse. The only way I'm going to get out of the way I'm shooting is to make shots, and the only way to do that is keep shooting. And layups don't count."

Our View:Miller is only averaging 5.3 points over his last eight games, and hasn't topped eight points over the span. He is worth holding out of lineups until he proved to be productive again, if you have a more suitable option at the position.
January 19, 2009
For the eighth straight game, Mike Miller came off of the bench as the Timberwolves defeated the Clippers 94-86 on Monday. In 28 minutes, he scored six points (0-for-4 from three), had three rebounds, two blocks and two assists. They are 7-1 in those games.

Our View:It is painful to admit, but it may be time to cut ties with Miller. As long as the team is winning, he will continue to be a reserve. The Timberwolves may still try and trade him, which would likely boost his value.
January 15, 2009
Coach Kevin McHale has faith that Mike Miller will become a bigger factor on offense after struggling all year in Minnesota, according to the Pioneer Press.

Our View:Miller is shooting 45 percent, but he's just not seeing any opportunities. In Memphis, Miller rarely had to compete for shots, just like O.J. Mayo has found out. The Timberwolves have several more offensive options, most notably Al Jefferson. Miller may be targeted in trade talks, but whether he goes anywhere or not, we trust McHale in believing that the worst of it is behind him.
January 2, 2009
Minnesota forward Mike Miller is expected to return to the team's lineup on Friday against the Warriors, reports the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Our View:Miller has been dealing with an ankle injury, but practiced on Thursday in anticipation of his return.
