January 29, 2010 Andrei Kirilenko had a fine all-around game Friday, picking up 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists, a steal and five blocks in a win over the Kings. Our View:Kirilenko had a nice matchup against the Kings and took clear advantage. The five blocks were a season high and he has now reached double-digit points in his last five straight games. The start was his ninth in a row. |

Our View:His hyperextended knee has not forced him to miss any game time as of yet. Coach Jerry Sloan has recently committed to giving him more minutes, so his nightly averages of 11 points and 4.5 rebounds could soon be on the rise. |

January 12, 2010 According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Jazz coach Jerry Sloan is planning to give Andrei Kirilenko more minutes. Our View:Sloan stated that Kirilenko is "a guy who can make plays", and he expects there to be less rotating of the team's wing players as a result. Wesley Matthews is expected to see a bump in minutes as well, so it appears C.J. Miles' time will suffer. |
