Andre Miller struggled shooting on Sunday, but he still managed to post 18 points in the Blazers' two-point win over the Nuggets. Miller was 5-for-18 from the field, but he was 8-for-9 from the free-throw line.

Our View:Miller didn't shoot the ball well tonight, but his competition for a starting spot, Steve Blake, was only 3-for-12 shooting as well. Miller is a good scorer, and he should be a nice fantasy play this season regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench.

Andre Miller had a huge night for the Blazers on Wednesday, but unfortunately it came in a losing effort as his team fell to the Suns 110-104. Miller scored 25 points and added five rebounds and six assists.

Our View:Miller isn't very happy that he might not be a regular starter for the team this season, but if he keeps performing like this he will have to be in the lineup. He can contribute in four different fantasy categories, and he should be a fine fantasy play unless he lets the off-court stuff affect his game.

The Oregonian reports that Andre Miller recently disclosed in an interview that he would not have signed in Portland had he known he would be backing up Steve Blake.

Our View:Miller's relationship with his new team has gotten off to a very rocky start, beginning with his failure to show up in shape. He has come off of the bench in each of the preseason games, but he has played well. We still think he will win the starting job, but at this point his fantasy value should be decreased.
