Rashard Lewis had a big night for the Magic on Friday as Orlando defeated Boston 83-78. Lewis had 16 points and 10 rebounds in the game.

Our View:Lewis has picked up right where he left off last season after missing the first ten games due to suspension. He shot the ball well tonight, and he should continue to improve as he gets back in the groove.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Magic All-Star Rashard Lewis has tested positive for steroids and will be suspended for the first ten games of the 2009-10 season.

Our View:Tests showed that a testosterone-producing, performance enhancing substance was found in Lewis' system. League sources revealed that he was taking nutritional supplements that, unbeknown to Lewis, contained an illegal substance commonly known as DHEA, which is banned by the NBA. It's being called an honest mistake, but athletes should know what they are putting in their bodies. Especially when their livelihood is on the line.

Rashard Lewis contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds in Game 5 as the Magic fell to the Lakers 99-86. Lewis struggled a bit from the field, as he shot 6-for-19, but he still managed to get his 18 points.

Our View:Lewis was very inconsistent in this series, and his poor shooting tonight didn't help. He may have gotten his points, but he did it while missing 13 shots. The Magic needed more from him, and he didn't deliver.
