Larry Hughes' new beard "isn't so much a fashion statement as it is a sign of frustration," according to the New York Daily News.

Our View:Apparently, the inaccurate shooting guard does not plan to shave "until he is traded, released or is playing regularly again for the Knicks." Although Knicks head man Mike D'Antoni has proven to be a contrary, unnecessarily stubborn coach that often benches players for personal reasons, it's hard to blame him for keeping Hughes and his 36.2 field goal percentage on the bench. With Larry now on his sixth career team, it might be time for him to acknowledge it's not you, it's him.

Larry Hughes apparently missed the end of the the Knicks' practice on Sunday, leaving at one point for a "bathroom break" but never returning, according to the New York Post.

Our View:Hughes has been in head coach Mike D'Antoni's doghouse for the past few weeks, and this latest incident certainly won't help his case one bit. There's no reason for fantasy owners to bother with him at this point.

In a childish and unprofessional display of immaturity, Larry Hughes went through Monday's practice with a coffee stirrer hanging out of his mouth, according to Newsday.

Our View:Hughes has been in and out of Mike D'Antoni's doghouse all season and this is likely his way of lashing out. He is reacting to being pulled from the Knicks rotation for the third time this season, but this was a classless move from the 11-year veteran. Don't expect D'Antoni to take this lightly or to see Hughes back on the court any time soon.

Larry Hughes has grown tired of coach Mike D'Antoni's "mind games," according to the New York Post.

Our View:He is upset after recently being pulled from the Knicks rotation for the third time in 2009-10. In Hughes' defense, D'Antoni is certainly full of himself. In reality, however, Hughes, always an incredibly poor shooter, is shooting just 36.8 percent from the field this season, including a woeful 29.7 percent from beyond the arc. That will get you benched in both real life and in fantasy.
