Paul Pierce was unable to get through the Celtics' practice on Monday after suffering an undisclosed injury, according to the team's Twitter page.

Our View:Pierce had been dealing with a sore left foot, though it's unclear if that is what caused him to miss the practice. Coach Doc Rivers has tentatively pronounced Pierce as questionable Wednesday against the Hornets.

While he may miss another game or two, Paul Pierce's foot injury doesn't appear to be too serious, according to the Boston Herald. "He's good, and it's day-to-day," Rivers said of Pierce. "I don't think he'll play (tomorrow) but then after that we'll see."

Our View:Pierce's injury was originally feared to be much worse, so it looks like his fantasy owners have dodged a bullet. Keep him on your bench for now, but be ready to get him back into your lineup in the near future.

According to Marc Spears on Twitter, Paul Pierce has a mildly sprained foot and is expected to be back in action by this weekend.

Our View:This is great news for Pierce owners and Celtics fans, as there was a possibility he could miss the entire season with the injury. He's considered day-to-day and him missing a couple games this week is the best turnout anyone could have hoped for. Feel free to drop Tony Allen if you proactively panicked and picked him up earlier.

According to NBA.com, the Celtic's Paul Pierce may have a broken foot.

Our View:Nothing is confirmed yet and Pierce still needs to undergo additional tests, but this doesn't look good. If it is broken he could miss anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months depending on the severity. Expect more updates after the tests, but you may want to get a head start and pick up Tony Allen.

Our View:Pierce could not lead Boston to a win, but had a strong performance for fantasy owners. The veteran small forward reached at least 30 points for the first time since November 22nd, when he racked up 33 against the rival Knicks.

Our View:Pierce did have two rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block in the game, but he also turned the ball over four times. Combine that with his miserable shooting performance and you have a lot of unhappy fantasy owners.
