Our View:Johnson could see more minutes than usual on Sunday, as Orlando has just nine available players, but is not a fantasy option in any format. |

February 11, 2009 Anthony Johnson hit only 1-of-5 shots and finished with four points, four turnovers, three rebounds, and one assist as the Magic fell at home to the Nuggets 82-73 on Wednesday. Our View:Johnson has not done much of anything since scoring 25 points in his first start. It looks as if he will be a difficult player to own moving forward, and it may be time to look for production elsewhere. |

February 4, 2009 Anthony Johnson made a bold statement as the Magic defeated the Clippers 125-96 on Wednesday. Judging by his performance, the Magic are not in as much trouble as it first seemed when Jameer Nelson tore his labrum. Johnson hit 9-of-11 shots, including 6-of-8 from three-point range and finished with 25 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Our View:Johnson didn't see much defense from Baron Davis and Fred Jones in the game, so don't expect these types of performances very often. Johnson can definitely hit from three-point range though, and anyone who's been following the Magic should know that is a huge part of their game plan. |
