April 22, 2009 After stating that he would put Tony Parker on his back with his first foul in Game 3, the league sent officials to discuss the matter with him, according to Our View:The Mavs need to do something to stop Parker, who has 65 points in two playoff games. The Mavericks defense can't seem to stop him from getting into the paint, so it's often up to Dampier to make sure he doesn't get a clean shot. Regardless of the league's involvement, expect some hard fouls in Game 3. |

March 29, 2009 Dallas owner Mark Cuban was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Sunday for publicly criticizing officials after the Mavericks' loss to Denver on Friday, according to the Our View:Cuban reportedly bemoaned on his Twitter account the fact that the Nuggets' J.R. Smith was not reprimanded after coming off the bench to taunt Dallas' Antoine Wright for missing a shot. |
