November 13, 2009 Eric Maynor scored 13 points and registered 11 assists in the Jazz's 112-90 win over the 76ers on Friday. Our View:Maynor finally got a chance to start and made the most of it. He set season-high totals in points, assists and rebounds (4) in the game and played nearly 36 minutes. The rookie should see more time as a result as long as Derron Williams is out of the lineup. |

July 1, 2009 According to the Deseret News, the Jazz have signed 2009 first-round pick Eric Maynor. Our View:The rookie point guard will make about $1.3 million in his first NBA season. He will participate in the Jazz's minicamp and the 2009 Orlando Pro Summer League. Next season he will back up Deron Williams. |
