October 19, 2009 Hawks' first-round pick Jeff Teague had 16 points and five assists on Monday as the Hawks defeated the Wizards 113-95. Teague played just over 26 minutes in the contest. Our View:Teague was 5-for-10 from the field tonight, and he was perfect from the line, going 5-for-5. He should be able to contribute for the Hawks this season, but he is still a year or two away from being a solid fantasy producer. |

July 20, 2009 First-round pick Jeff Teague has inked a deal with the Hawks, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Contract terms were not disclosed. Our View:Teague averaged 16.4 points over two seasons at Wake Forest, and shot 44.1 percent from three-point range in 2008-09. He should develop into a rock-solid guard with Atlanta. |
