February 7, 2010 Recently benched swingman Chris Douglas-Roberts is a candidate to be traded before the February 18 deadline, according to the Bergen Record. Our View:CDR, while talented, isn't of much use to a club that is 4-46 (wow). He would likely be a much better fit as a role player on a contending team than a player expected to score for a drowning one. The Grizzlies are said to be interested. |

February 2, 2010 Chris Douglas-Roberts has been dropped from New Jersey's starting lineup in favor of Jarvis Hayes, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. Our View:The move comes after he averaged just 7.7 points per game during an injury-plagued January. He won't have any fantasy value while he rides the pine in New Jersey. That being said, it wouldn't be impossible for him to earn his starting job back at some point. Stay tuned. |
