Derrick Rose scored 28 points in 59 minutes as the Bulls defeated the Celtics 128-127 in triple overtime on Thursday. The rookie picked up eight rebounds and seven assists in the nail-biter.

Our View:Rose is getting an incredible introduction to the NBA Playoffs, but you wouldn't know it by looking at him. Rose is utterly emotionless before, during, and after every game and perhaps that ice water in his vains is what makes him so good.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is reporting that Derrick Rose has been named to the All-Rookie first team. Joining Rose on the team are Miami's Michael Beasley, Memphis' O.J. Mayo, Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook, and New Jersey's Brook Lopez.

Our View:Rose and Mayo were unanimous choices, but all five deserved to make the team. This rookie class was very impressive, and Rose and Mayo especially have very bright futures in the league.
