January 25, 2010 Javaris Crittenton has been charged with two gun counts stemming from his locker-room incident with Gilbert Arenas last month, according to the Washington Post. Our View:More specifically, Crittenton was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, which is a felony, and attempting to carry a pistol without a license, a misdemeanor. He, along with Arenas, remains on indefinite suspension by the NBA for the time being. While a concrete suspension is expected to be announced for the two at some point this week, this season is likely a lost one for both, and Crittenton will find it hard to latch on with another franchise given his borderline skills. |

January 7, 2010 The Washington Post is reporting that Javaris Crittenton loaded and cocked a gun in the Wizards' locker room on December 21. Our View:His actions came in response to Gilbert Arenas' now infamous "joke" of laying four guns on a chair and telling Crittenton to "pick one" to shoot him in the knee with. If this story can be confirmed, Agent Zero will not be the only one facing an indefinite suspension. |
