Our View:Thornton hit 12-of-17 shots from the field and was good for four rebounds, an assist and a steal in the game. The 30 points were easily a season high and he has now totaled 50 points in his last two games. Owners can't be sure where the sudden scoring burst has come from, but we don't expect anyone is complaining. |

Our View:Despite the game being out of hand from the start, coach Mike Dunleavy kept running Thornton out there. The second-year player has averaged 38 minutes per game this season, and there remains the potential that he burns out. However, the Clippers are slowly getting more healthy, so his minutes may be reduced some after the All-Star break. |
