As expected, the Pacers have announced that they will not match the four-year, $20 million offer that the Raptors extended to Jarrett Jack last week, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:With that said, Jack officially becomes a member of the Raptors, joining his friend and former teammate at Georgia Tech, Chris Bosh, north of the border. Expect him to start at shooting guard and be part of a formidable lineup that will include Jose Calderon, Hedo Turkoglu, Bosh and Andrea Bargnani. The Raptors should be legit playoff contenders in the East, and Jack should be considered in the mid-to-later rounds of fantasy drafts as a nice combo-guard who may not excel in any one category, but is fully capable of filling up every portion of the stat sheet.

Jarrett Jack does not believe the Pacers will match the Raptors' four year, $20 million offer for him on Monday, the last day they have to do so, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View:It appears all but certain that Jack is heading north of the border. He is expected to see a lot of playing time as the Raptors' first reserve guard, and has a good chance of improving on the career high 13.1 points per game he averaged last season.

The Raptors formally signed restricted free agent Jarrett Jack to a four year, $20 million offer sheet on Monday, according to the Toronto Star.

Our View:The Pacers will have seven days to match the Raptors offer, but likely won't because the move would put them over the luxury tax threshold. Jack averaged a career high 13.1 points per game in 2008-09, and could see a lot of playing time as both the Raptors backup point and shooting guard. His all-around game and continued improvement make him a solid late round pick.

TSN is reporting that the Toronto Raptors have extended an offer sheet to Pacers' restricted free agent Jarrett Jack. The offer is expected to be formally made either Sunday or Monday, and the Pacers will have seven days to match it.

Our View:No word on the financial terms of the offer sheet, but you would have to think the Pacers will match unless the Raps are offering outrageous money. Jack broke out last season, averaging 13.1 points per game, and the Pacers would like to keep him in the fold. We will keep you updated.

Our View:Jack played 41 minutes, even though T.J. Ford returned from the flu. Ford came off the bench in tonight's game, but expect him to take the starting job back soon. Jack could still stay in the starting five though. Brandon Rush has been starting recently.
