The New York Times reports that Knicks guard Nate Robinson may return to the lineup on Friday.

Our View:Robinson was expected to play Wednesday, but his ankle was still too sore. He's been running on it but is currently limited to cutting only one direction. Expect him to be a game-time decision on Friday, as he could play, but don't be surprised if he misses another contest.

The New York Post is reporting that Knicks' guard Nate Robinson will test his injured right ankle on Wednesday morning before making decision on his status for the game against the Hawks. Robinson hasn't played since the end of October with the sprained right ankle.

Our View:Robinson is expecting to play, but he wants to test the ankle this morning to make sure. We will update his status before the game, so check back for before tip-off.

Nate Robinson (ankle) returned to Knicks practice on Tuesday, and may be able to play against the Hawks on Wednesday, according to Newsday.

Our View:Robinson has not played since Halloween. He was averaging just 8.7 points per game before going down, but is a safe bet to score at least ten a night once he is healthy.
