Our View:Calderon attempted just eight shots in the game and drained six of them. He's now reached double digit point totals in all but three games this season.

Our View:Through three games, the point guard is averaging just 10 points and 6.7 assists, while shooting 36.8 percent. Perhaps he is still simply adjusting to another ball-dominant player, Hedo Turkoglu, in the lineup.

Jose Calderon filled up the stat sheet as usual on Wednesday night in the Raptors' preseason loss to the Celtics. Calderon had 12 points, three assists, three steals, and a rebound in the game.

Our View:Calderon should be a very nice fantasy point guard this season, as he has plenty of scorers around him. e will get his points, but his assist numbers should be even higher than his 8.9 per game last season. He is also usually good for a few steals a night.

Jose Calderon has elected to not play for Spain this summer in the pre-selection rounds for the European Championship, according to his personal website. He is recovering from surgery to his left ring finger and allowing his oft-injured hamstring to get back to 100 percent.

Our View:Calderon has played for his national team since he was 14 years old, and the decision was a difficult one. This is good news for his fantasy value though, as he should be well rested for next season. He slightly underperformed in 68 games last season when he averaged just 12.8 points and 8.9 assists.

Our View:He suffered the injury March 25 during battle with the Bucks, but did not miss any playing time. Calderon will need at least six weeks to recover, and will be ready to go for training camp.

The Toronto Star reports that Jose Calderon is still deciding on whether or not to play with the Spanish National Team this summer. He was a central figure on their silver medal team at last summer's Olympics.

Our View:Calderon battled hamstring issues throughout the second half, so fantasy owners would prefer he take the summer off to get completely healed. Also, if he does play, he will enter next season having played two straight years worth of games and fatigue would be a big concern.

Our View:Calderon shot just five times. While his season appears solid, expectations were a lot higher for him after the team traded T.J. Ford away last summer. A hamstring injury hampered him most of the season, and a better season should be in store for him in 2009-2010.
