Marvin Williams had a breakout performance on Friday night as the Hawks defeated the Rockets 105-103. Williams scored 29 points and had nine rebounds in the game.

Our View:Considering Williams was averaging nine points and 4.5 rebounds coming into tonight's game, this was certainly a big performance. The Hawks are loaded with talent, and Williams showed tonight that he can be one of the better players on the court when he decides to show up and play.

Marvin Williams led the Hawks in scoring in their preseason win over the Wizards on Monday. Williams had 16 points to go along with six rebounds and one assist.

Our View:The Hawks had six players in double-figures tonight, but Williams led the way thanks to a 6-for-7 shooting night. He can help out fantasy squads in scoring categories, but his 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game last year leave plenty to be desired.

Marvin Williams led all Hawks with 19 points in their 100-91 loss to Detroit on Sunday. He also contributed three rebounds and three assists and missed all three of his three-point attempts.

Our View:Williams is still trying to live up to all of the potential that made him a No. 2 overall pick ahead of Chris Paul. However, his fantasy value remains primarily in scoring as he is not a very strong rebounder or defender. If he could start hitting more three-pointers, that would be a bonus.
