Delonte West (finger) looked good at practice on Monday and could be back in action on Tuesday, according to the Akron Beacon Journal's George Thomas.

Our View:While it may not come right away, West should eventually unseat Daniel Gibson in the starting lineup until Mo Williams comes back. Owners in deeper leagues should think about picking West up.

According to the Associated Press, Delonte West (finger) participated in Friday's scrimmage and is considered questionable for Saturday's game.

Our View:He's currently considered day-to-day, and although he was wearing a protective brace on his finger, he apparently shot the ball well. Daniel Gibson has played well in his place though, so don't expect the Cavs to rush him back on the court before he's 100 percent. And you shouldn't rush him back into fantasy lineups just yet either. It may be worth seeing how he performs in a game before activating him.

Delonte West (broken finger) will sit out again on Tuesday, according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

Our View:Daniel Gibson will again start at the point for the Cavs. West is technically day-to-day-, but more realistically, is week-to-week. Stay tuned.

Delonte West has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Clippers due to his fractured ring finger, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:Mo Williams (shoulder) is also still on the shelf, so Daniel Gibson will continue to start at point guard for the Cavs.
January 29, 2010
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Delonte West will not play in Friday's game against the Pacers due to his fractured ring finger.

Our View:No surprise here as there is still not a timetable for West's return. Daniel Gibson will once again get the start in his place.
January 28, 2010
The Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports that Cavs guard Delonte West has had his trial for gun charges pushed from February 18 to April 26.

Our View:That would, of course, put his trial smack-dab in the middle of Cleveland's NBA Finals run. Expect him to reach a plea agreement well before then. Currently, West is out indefinitely with a broken left ring finger.
January 27, 2010
Delonte West (finger) will remain out against the Timberwolves on Wednesday, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:There's no need for the Cavaliers to play West tonight, given that they should easily handle Minnesota without him. Look for Daniel Gibson to start in his place, though West should be back soon.
January 25, 2010
Delonte West missed tonight's game at Miami, and he remains day-to-day while dealing with a fractured ring finger on his shooting hand, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:West has been fitted with a splint, and the Cavs are not ruling him out to return at some point this week. He will battle Daniel Gibson for minutes at point guard with Mo Williams down with a shoulder injury.
January 22, 2010
Delonte West will not play on Saturday after fracturing the ring finger on his shooting hand on Thursday, according to George Thomas of the Akron Beacon-Journal.

Our View:He is currently listed as "day-to-day," but that seems rather dubious considering the break is on his shooting hand. Consider him an un-viable play for all of next week. Daniel Gibson could provide some temporary fantasy value as a three-point specialist in his and Mo Williams' absences.
January 21, 2010
With Mo Williams out with a shoulder injury, Delonte West will make his first start of the season on Thursday, according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

Our View:Unless Williams is out for a fairly significant amount of time, West shouldn't warrant an add. The situation is one to be monitored, though.
January 16, 2010
Delonte West is expected to play in tonight's game at the Clippers, according to Brian Windhorst's (Cleveland Plain Dealer) twitter page.

Our View:West was a game-time call after missing the shootaround with an upset stomach. Regardless, he is not much of a fantasy option right now.
January 16, 2010
Delonte West missed Cleveland's shootaround with an illness on Saturday, and will be a game-time decision vs. the Clippers, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:After averaging 33 and a half minutes per game a season ago, West has been playing just 22 and a half in 2009-10. He is not currently a fantasy option.
January 3, 2010
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Delonte West pulled himself out of Saturday's game against the Nets. He had just two points in the game.

Our View:West had been picking up his play of late, but didn't have it against the Nets and forced coach Mike Brown into a different substitution pattern late in the game after heading to the bench unannounced. The potential remains high, but there remain a lot of headaches for West's owners.
