Devin Harris poured in 24 points in tonight's 97-93 home loss to the Pistons. He also notched 14 assists, five rebounds and one block.

Our View:Harris bounced back after scoring a total of 25 points over his previous three games. He recorded his second double-double, and set a new personal single-game high in assists for 2009-10.

Updating a previous report, Devin Harris (wrist) will start in Tuesday's game against the Pistons, according to the Nets Twitter account.

Our View:Don't count on much fantasy production from Harris as his minutes will likely be severely limited. Still, if you own him you might as well start him as the games he's actually played this season have been few and far between.

Devin Harris (wrist) will be a game-time decision against the Pistons on Tuesday night, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View:Considering the injury has caused him to miss four straight games, it is probably best to assume he will not play tonight. Obviously, he is very close to returning, however.

Devin Harris is not in the starting lineup for the Nets on Sunday and will not play against the Sixers due to a wrist injury.

Our View:The Nets are being careful with Harris and there is still no concrete timetable for his return. Keyon Dooling will get the start tonight in his place.
January 29, 2010
Devin Harris (wrist) will not play against the Wizards tonight, according to the Bergen Record.

Our View:His wrist has been improving, though he's still not quite ready to play. Keyon Dooling remains a fine spot play in Harris' place.

Devin Harris (wrist) is highly likely to sit out again on Friday, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View:Keyon Dooling started in his place on Wednesday, and actually helped lead the Nets to their fourth victory of the season. He is someone to temporarily add if you are a Harris owner.
January 27, 2010
Confirming prior suspicions, Devin Harris (wrist) will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday, according to the New York Daily News.

Our View:Harris being sidelined should never come as a surprise to fantasy owners at this point. Keyon Dooling will start at the point and make for a decent spot-play.
January 26, 2010
Devin Harris (wrist) will most likely sit out on Wednesday when the Nets take on the Clippers, according to the New York Post.

Our View:With the 3-40 Nets unlikely to go on the 39-game winning streak they would likely need to get into the playoffs (as in every single game remaining this season), little reason exists to run an unhealthy Harris out there. Expect him to sit out on Wednesday, and tentatively consider him doubtful for Friday.
January 25, 2010
Devin Harris is being listed as day-to-day after X-rays on his right wrist came back negative, according to NorthJersey.com.

Our View:The Nets don't play until Wednesday, at which point Harris could be back, though he remains a risky play at this point.
January 23, 2010
Devin Harris aggravated his wrist injury on Friday night against Golden State and is doubtful against Utah tonight, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View:The frustrations keep on building for Nets fans and Harris fantasy owners alike. Look for Keyon Dooling to start at the point tonight and make for a decent fill-in. Luckily, the ailment doesn't appear to be too serious, and New Jersey has three days off after tonight's showdown.

Shooting down recent national media speculation, Nets president Rod Thorn says the club is highly unlikely to trade point guard Devin Harris, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View:Thorn, of course, did add, "I never say never, but it's very unlikely that he's going to be traded." So basically, the odds of Harris getting traded seem about the same as they did before Thorn made his statement. As Thorn knows, it's never good for the rest of the world to know you want to get rid of a guy.
January 20, 2010
Devin Harris scored just 11 points on Wednesday night, as New Jersey got crushed 118-94 by the Suns.

Our View:It's likely these kind of nights that have convinced New Jersey that Harris is not a franchise player. He can't afford many more of them if he wants to remain in the Garden State.
January 19, 2010
An idea ESPN's Chad Ford has heard "floating around" is a swap of Devin Harris for Caron Butler.

Our View:The Nets have apparently decided Harris is not their franchise point guard, and with the Wiz looking to blow up their roster, Butler is very likely to be moved before next month's trading deadline. Whether or not they will be swapped for each other, however, appears to be undetermined for the moment.
January 16, 2010
In a surprising bit of news, ESPN reports that the Nets could be willing to trade point guard Devin Harris this season.

Our View:The club apparently no longer believes that he is a franchise point guard, and would consider dealing him along with an expiring contract for an upper-tier younger player. Harris has been quite injury prone the past two seasons, which is likely lending to the team's frustration. If he can stay healthy and play at a high level for the rest of the season, he could work his way back into their long-term plans.
January 13, 2010
Devin Harris will play against the Celtics today after missing New Jersey's last game with a sore wrist, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:Harris admitted that he's not at 100 percent health and that he typically starts to feel the soreness intensify later on in games. While you can't expect him to reach his All-Star status from last year until he's fully healthy, he's still well worth playing whenever you know he'll be on the court.
January 11, 2010
Devin Harris (wrist) said that he'll try and play Wednesday against Boston, according to the New York Post.

Our View:That's nice to hear, but doesn't really provide much insight as to whether or not he actually will play on Wednesday. After sitting out last night's game and with only two games this upcoming week regardless, he should probably be benched for now.
January 10, 2010
According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Devin Harris will not play in Sunday's game against the Spurs due to tendinitis in his right wrist.

Our View:The tendinitis is apparently mild so consider Harris day-to-day for now. Keyon Dooling will start in his place.
January 10, 2010
Devin Harris will be a game-time decision against the Spurs tonight as he suffers from tendinitis in his right wrist, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View:Harris' wrist has clearly affected his play of late, as he's shot a paltry 5-of-21 from the field over the Nets' past three games, over which he's scored just 24 combined points. Keyon Dooling would fill Harris' void if he sits.
January 6, 2010
Devin Harris scored 15 points in tonight's 119-89 loss at Atlanta. He also had two rebounds, eight assists and four steals.

Our View:Harris scored below his season average of 16.4 points, but at least he fared better after only collecting five points in his previous outing against Milwaukee.
January 2, 2010
Devin Harris scored a team-high 22 points and collected five rebounds, six assists and a steal on Saturday, but the lowly Nets fell to the mighty Cavs 94-86.

Our View:Harris capped the 20-point plateau for the sixth time this year and topped all of his season averages in the game.
