Luol Deng led the Bulls with 18 points on Wednesday, but couldn't stop them from losing 99-89 to the Raptors.

Our View:Deng is averaging nearly a double-double a night so far in 2009-10, and looks to be, at least for the time being, over the injury woes that have plagued him the past two seasons.

Luol Deng led the Bulls with 15 points as they knocked off LeBron and the Cavs 86-85 in a nail-biter on Thursday.

Our View:Deng had 7 rebounds and three assists to go along with his 15 points, but his efforts seem dwarfed compared to his last game. He put up 24 points and 20 rebounds against the Bucks on Tuesday. The big man is having an impressive season so far.

Luol Deng was dominant in Tuesday's 83-81 win over the Bucks, as he racked up 24 points and 20 boards. He also had two blocks.

Luol Deng fired off 21 shots for 26 points as the Bulls fell 95-87 to the Celts on Sunday. He also picked up eight boards in the loss.

Our View:Through three games, Deng has played very inconsistent. In games one and three, he played 38 and 36 minuts respectively. In the second game he played just 20 minutes and scored only four points. We expect he will be playing over 30 minutes per game as long as he can give consistent effort - which has been a problem in the past.
October 29, 2009

Luol Deng had a great all-around day as the Bulls began preseason play on Friday. The sixth-year player out of Duke posted 15 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals, as the Bulls beat the Pacers 104-95.

Our View:With Ben Gordon now out of the picture in Chicago, Deng will likely improve on his 14.1 points per game from a season ago. Couple that with the six rebounds and steal per game he has averaged over his career, and he should be a very solid guard/forward combo option in 2009-10.

According to the Daily Herald, Luol Deng, who is dealing with a stress fracture in his leg, made it through his first practice on Saturday with just minor soreness.

Our View:This is obviously good news, but Deng offered a cautious statement as well, saying that he is "concerned about the rest of the season". Obviously, staying healthy is key to his success and that appears to be weighing on his mind. The big man averaged 14.1 PPG and six RPG last season.
June 27, 2009
According to the Chicago Sun Times, Luol Deng is still rehabbing the stress fracture in his leg, but so far there has been no mention of surgery.

Luol Deng was effective in his return to the Bulls starting lineup and picked up some of the rebounding slack as his team was missing Drew Gooden. Deng finished with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists in the 102-98 win over Toronto.

Our View:Deng needs to be more aggressive to re-establish his value. Hopefully tonight's performance was an indication of things to come.
