Luol Deng led the Bulls with 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds, but they fell 91-81 to the Hawks on Friday.

Our View:Deng has been dealing with a thumb injury, but it didn't seem to hamper him on Friday. The 20 point effort marked the first time he reached that plateau in three February games.

Luol Deng (thumb) sat out Chicago's practice on Thursday, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.

Our View:Joakim Noah (foot) and Taj Gibson (foot) both sat out as well, though all three seem more than likely to play against Atlanta on Friday. Noah is probably a little bit more iffy than Deng and Gibson.

Our View:Deng recorded a double-double, after not doing so in his previous six battles. He is averaging 20.3 points over his last three games.

Luol Deng banged in a team-high 18 points in Tuesday's 90-82 home loss to the Clippers. He also had seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Our View:Deng had a satisfying performance for fantasy owners, and averages 20.3 points over his last three games. He should remain a quality fantasy option, as long as he avoids the injury bug.

Luol Deng led the charge for the Bulls Friday with 26 points and collected seven rebounds and two assists as they topped the Hornets 108-106 in overtime.

Our View:It was nice to see Deng put up a gaudy point total, as he had averaged just 13 points in his previous three games. He has shot well from downtown in his last two though, making four of seven shots.

Luol Deng scored 20 points in today's 114-97 loss at Golden State. He also tallied four rebounds, three assists and a block.

Our View:Deng's rebounding was down, but at least he reached 20 points for the third time in his last four games.

Luol Deng was huge on Thursday, collecting a game-high 25 points, two rebounds, four assists, two steals and a pair of blocks as the Bulls upset the Celtics 96-83.

Our View:Deng was 8-of-13 from the field and drained nine of his ten free throws in the game. He now has back-to-back 20-point games, good for 52 total in 70-plus minutes of playing time.

Luol Deng was a standout in Monday's 120-87 win over the Pistons, as he scored a game-high 27 points. He also picked up six rebounds, one assist and one block.

Our View:Deng broke out after only averaging 12.7 points over his previous eight games. Hopefully fantasy owners won't have to wait long for his next strong performance.

According to the Chicago Tribune, doctors informed Luol Deng that his thumb injury will take 6-8 weeks to heal as long as he doesn't play basketball.

Our View:Deng has been playing through the injury, but will have to go on sabbatical if he wants it to heal. This is not a promising situation for fantasy owners, as he'll likely be inactive eventually if not right away, so it may be time to sell him off.
