Steve Blake has been officially dealt to the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Our View:He's moves down the pacific coast in Portland's deal for Marcus Camby. Averaging 7.6 points and four assists per game this season, he figures to see those numbers go down as he joins a back-court that already includes Baron Davis and Eric Gordon.

Steve Blake stepped up on Wednesday with 20 points, two rebounds, 12 assists and two steals in a 108-101 win over the Suns.

Our View:Blake got a rare start and delivered for the Blazers. The 20 points and 12 assists are now season highs for him and he will continue to play as long as Jerryd Bayless (ankle) and Brandon Roy (hamstring) are out of action.

Steve Blake has been slated to start tonight's game at Detroit, according to the Blazers' official twitter page.

Our View:Jerryd Bayless (ankle) and Brandon Roy (hamstring) are both out, meaning Blake may see heavy minutes at shooting guard. He is worth a look for deeper fantasy leagues.

Steve Blake (pneumonia) said he'll return to action against Cleveland on Sunday, according to the Oregonian.

Our View:Blake has missed Portland's past four games with the illness, but it looks like he'll be good to go on Sunday. Only owners in deep leagues need to pay attention.

Steve Blake (pneumonia) has been announced as out against the Lakers tonight, according to the Oregonian.

Our View:Blake should be back in action by Sunday, though he only has value in very deep leagues, regardless.
January 7, 2010
Steve Blake returned to practice Thursday for the first time since being hospitalized with pneumonia, according to NBA.com.

Our View:Blake is not fully recovered though, and still needs to take antibiotics. He is a quality backup at point guard when healthy.
January 3, 2010
Steve Blake (pneumonia) has been released from the hospital, and will be re-evaluated on Monday, according to the Blazers' official Twitter account.

Our View:He has been officially ruled out for Monday night. Expect him to be able to return to action by next week, if not next weekend.
January 3, 2010
The Oregonian projects Steve Blake to miss a week's worth of games after being hospitalized with pneumonia.

Our View:This seems like an optimistic timeline to us, so take caution. Jerryd Bayless benefits the most from Blake's absence, and actually has a shot at taking his place in the rotation, albeit a long one.
January 1, 2010
The Oregonian reports that Steve Blake was diagnosed with pneumonia and was hospitalized on Friday. He is out indefinitely.

Our View:Blake's production has dropped over the last couple weeks and he's last starting job. Look for Jerryd Bayless to continue to see a boost in minutes.
