Chris Bosh recorded another double-double in Tuesday's loss to the Nuggets with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Our View:The rebound machine is averaging about 12 per game this season, so tonight's effort was certainly up to standards in that department. However, for a man averaging nearly 28 PPG, his total of 13 was a bit disappointing. Expect better results next time out.
November 15, 2009
Chris Bosh had another double-double on Sunday night as the Raptors fell to the Suns 101-100. Bosh scored 25 points to go along with his ten rebounds and two assists.

Our View:Nice outing by Bosh, but considering he is averaging 28 points and nearly 12 rebounds a game, it was actually a slow night. Bosh is consistently good, so fantasy owners can expect him to post solid numbers pretty much every time out.
November 14, 2009
Chris Bosh stood out for the Raptors on Friday with 21 points, 14 rebounds and six assists in a 104-89 win over the Clippers.

November 6, 2009
Chris Bosh scored a game-high 27 points in Friday's 107-90 win at New Orleans, to go along with seven rebounds, two assists and one block.

November 4, 2009
Chris Bosh had another big night for the Raptors on Wednesday as they defeated the Pistons 110-99. Bosh had 25 points and eight rebounds in the win.

Our View:Considering Bosh's 31 point and 14.7 rebound average heading into tonight's action, this outing was actually a bit on the down side. If this is a bad night for Bosh, then fantasy owners have nothing to worry about.
November 1, 2009
Chris Bosh led the way as usual for the Raptors on Sunday in his team's 125-116 loss to the Magic. Bosh finished with 30 points on 10-for-20 shooting, and he also added 16 rebounds.

October 23, 2009
Chris Bosh poured in a game-high 27 points and 14 rebounds in tonight's 98-90 preseason loss at Minnesota. He also chipped in three blocks over 36:26 minutes of action.

Our View:Bosh is a strong performer, but has trouble staying healthy. He should still be among the first forwards targeted in fantasy leagues.
October 18, 2009
Chris Bosh put together another nice performance on Sunday, but once again his team fell to the Celtics big by a score of 101-82. Bosh had 15 points and eight rebounds in the game.

Our View:Rumors have been swirling around Bosh getting moved, but he looked just fine in his Raptors' uniform tonight. The team has put a some decent talent around him, and the Raptors can contend this season with Bosh in the fold. His fantasy stock is high right now, and there is no reason to think he won't have another huge year.
October 12, 2009

Chris Bosh is not likely to land with the Mavericks when he is eligible for free agency in 2010, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:Bosh enjoys playing in Toronto, and the Raptors will likely fight hard to retain their best player when the time comes. Another reason why he won't likely land in Dallas is that he plays the same position as Dirk Nowitzki at power forward.
June 30, 2009
The Houston Chronicle reports that the Rockets are interested in either trading for Chris Bosh this summer or singing him in 2010 when he will be a free agent.

Our View:Bosh has made it no secret that he intends to test the free agent market next summer and that he has little desire to stay in Toronto. Houston could be a good fit for the native Texan if the Raptors decide to trade him and get something for him as opposed to letting him walk for nothing next year.
June 15, 2009
Chris Bosh is reportedly interested in playing for the Heat, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:This news is merely a rumor as of now. Bosh would be playing alongside Dwyane Wade and Michael Beasley if he landed in Miami, potentially giving the club one of the best front-courts in the NBA.
June 15, 2009
The Toronto Globe and Mail reports that Chris Bosh has already begun offseason workouts and is hoping to gain up to 20 pounds prior to next season. he is working out with renowned trainer Ken Roberson in Dallas. "To be a superstar on (Bosh's) level as weak as he is," Roberson says of Bosh, "Shows his heart and ability. I mean, he strong now compared to most people, but I'm talking about him being incredibly strong, superhero strong, where you can take over a game and have plenty left over for the next night. We're building a locomotive."

Our View:It sounds like a good start to the summer for Bosh, who's Raptors did not make the playoffs this year. He will be seeking a maximum contract next summer at this time, and an uptick in performance from this season will be needed for him to get it. Should he add even 10 pounds of muscle, he would likely be a better producer in fantasy leagues as well.
June 4, 2009
Chris Bosh does not plan on inking a new deal with the Raptors, and expects to become an unrestricted free agent in 2010, according to the Toronto Star. Bosh said, "When I signed a three-year extension in 2006, I had a goal in mind, and that was to put myself in the best position in 2010. I am thinking I just want to stick to my goal, stick to what I was doing. That is a part of the plan. I just want to address things after next season. There is a reason why I did things the way I did them back then."

Our View:Bosh averaged 22.7 points and 10 boards per game in 2008-09, and should have another solid campaign next season with the motivation of playing for a lucrative new deal.
May 14, 2009

Our View:The Warriors may be in love with Bosh, but this move is highly unlikely. Bosh can opt out of his deal after next season, and it would take a hefty ranson to get him away from Canada. Don't look for anything to come of this.
April 20, 2009

"Chris is still the best player on this team and thus will remain the cornerstone of the franchise," general manager Bryan Colangelo said. Our View:Bosh has two years and $33 million left on his current contract with Toronto, though he can opt out of his contract after next season and join the star-studded 2010 free agent class that is currently set to include LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Amare Stoudemire, Yao Ming and Dirk Nowitzki, among many others. I do not think I have to sit down really long and hard and just go on some kind of special trip to think about it. There is no pressure for me."

Our View:It was previously speculated that the Bulls would pursue Bosh if he became available, but it does not sound like the big man will ask for a trade in the offseason.
April 13, 2009

Chris Bosh led all scorers with 22 points as the Raptors beat the 76ers 111-104 on Sunday. The forward picked up eight rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block in the victory.

Our View:Bosh figures to be at the focus of a trade rumors throughout the offseason. The 2008-09 campaign was a huge failure and many believe Bosh would not re-sign with the Raptors when he becomes a free agent next offseason. Also, Andrea Bargnani is better suited to play Bosh's power forward position rather than center.

March 27, 2009
Chris Bosh led the Raptors in scoring with 21 and grabbed 13 boards in Friday's 112-96 win. He also had six assists and three blocked shots.

March 25, 2009
Chris Bosh was good for 18 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in Wednesday's 115-106 win over the Bucks. He needed just eight field goals to pick up his 18 points as he got to the free-throw line 10 times.

February 3, 2009
Toronto forward Chris Bosh is livid about a claim made by ESPN's Stephen A. Smith that Bosh told team president and GM Bryan Colangelo he wouldn't re-sign with the Raptors when he becomes a free agent in 16 months, according to the Toronto Star. "No. No. No, I have not told him (Colangelo) that," Bosh said. "Me and Bryan talk about how to improve this team and what we can do to get better as far as personnel-wise, pushing the guys, practicing better, and what I can do to get better."

Our View:This is not the first confrontation between Bosh and Smith. During last season's playoffs, the often veracious Smith compared Bosh to former NBA big man Manute Bol, insinuating Bosh was too skinny and weak-framed for tough interior play.
February 2, 2009
Chris Bosh denies the report circulating that he does not want to re-sign with the Raptors, according to TSN.
