Our View:Anthony has been deemed as a game-time decision for Denver's past several games, and while it's too bad that he'll likely miss two more, this latest info at least provides a bit more clarity to his situation. Keep the star small forward out of your lineup for now, and expect to have him back next Tuesday against the Mavericks.

Our View:Melo has missed Denver's past four games, but it looks like his ankle has been given ample time to heal. Anthony is a must-start whenever you know he'll be on the court, so make sure he's active in your lineup.

The Denver Post reports that Carmelo Anthony will miss Monday's game against the Bobcats due to a sprained ankle. "The best bet is to wait until Wednesday's game to get it better. It didn't swell up, so that's a good sign. I've had ankle injuries before, but this one is not as bad as the others," said Anthony.

Our View:Anthony is second in the league with 29.7 points per game and is having probably his best season yet. His 86.1 free-throw percentage is easily a career best.

Our View:Melo missed five games with a knee injury, and likely isn't 100 percent yet, but in his two games since returning he's put up 51 points. Expect him to get closer and closer to his dominant self with each passing game.

Our View:Earlier it seemed like nothing would happen with Melo until Friday, but he participated in Wednesday's practice and now it's up to the coaches to see if he's ready to be activated in two days. He can apparently shoot and handle the ball, but his explosiveness when pushing off is still an issue. Check back around game time on Friday for an update. Nene Hilario (ankle) and Ty Lawson (ankle) will be game-time decisions as well.

Our View:Carmelo was "hopeful" of playing on Tuesday night, but ended up sitting out his third straight game. He doesn't seem likely to play on Friday, and might not be a good weekly start next week. Expect Denver to give its franchise player all the time he needs to get fully healthy.

Our View:Melo is banged up with a knee injury and Billups has been dealing with a groin injury. Both were long-shots to play and will be replaced by Ty Lawson and Joey Graham.

"It hurts when I try to extend it to full extension," Anthony said. "I tried to run on it earlier, but just the impact of me going up and down was hurting it. It really depends on how much tolerance I can take on it."

Our View:'Melo is usually a very reliable play, but obviously today his status is in question. This could develop into a more serious injury if the Nuggets opt to play it safe. However, in the competitive Western Conference, they need to get him back in the mix soon to avoid slipping too far.

Check back before tip off as his status may change, but it's not premature to start looking for a temporary fantasy replacement. J.R. Smith and Anthony Carter will both start if Billups and Anthony can't go.
