November 8, 2009 Mickael Pietrus had a nice shooting performance on Sunday in the Magic's 102-74 loss to the Thunder. Pietrus was 4-for-9 from the field for 15 points, including a perfect 2-for-2 from distance. Our View:Pietrus added three steals, two rebounds, and an assist off the bench tonight, but it didn't matter much as Orlando was dominated by the Thunder. Pietrus is averaging only 8.3 points per game this season, but he is a good enough shooter to post more nights like this. He is still a fringe fantasy player, however, with his only value coming as a shooter. |

November 4, 2009 Updating a previous report, Magic guard Mickael Pietrus is expected to be available off the bench on Wednesday, according to Our View:It was originally believed that Pietrus wouldn't be available for tonight's game, but he is doing much better than he was last night. He will come off the bench and will probably see his minutes limited a bit, but he is expected to play. |

November 4, 2009 The Our View:Pietrus reportedly just has a cold, but it must be a pretty bad cold to keep him out three games. The Magic expect him to be able to play in their next contest, but that could change if they find out he has something worse that a common cold. |
