LeBron James scored a season-high 40 points on Friday as the Cavs defeated the Pacers 105-95. James added nine rebounds and seven assists in the win.

Our View:The Cavs were behind for much of the game, but LeBron put the team on his shoulders and delivered a win. Fantasy owners can't ask for much more than 40-9-7 from the King, so tonight was a great night even by LeBron standards.
November 18, 2009
LeBron James injured his right wrist while banging it on the rim in tonight's loss at Washington, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:James hit his funny bone, and was icing the wrist after the game. It is uncertain if the injury will force him to miss any time.
November 18, 2009
LeBron James scored a game-high 34 points in tonight's 108-91 loss at Washington, to go along with nine assists, two rebounds and two steals.

Our View:The stud small forward could not lead the Cavs to a win, but had a strong night for fantasy owners. James topped 30 points for the sixth time, and fell one assist short of claiming his second straight double-double.
November 17, 2009
LeBron James stood out once again on Tuesday with 31 points, five rebounds and 12 assists in a 114-108 win over the Warriors.

Our View:LeBron hit 11-of-19 shots and recorded a steal and two blocks in the game as well. This game marks the fifth time this season he has eclipsed the 30-point plateau, but it's only his second double-double. Expect many more to follow.
November 14, 2009
LeBron James led the Cavs with 21 points in Saturday's 107-103 win over the Jazz, to go along with six boards, nine assists, two steals and a block.

Our View:James could have had more points, but he missed all three attempts from three-point land. He did not shoot the lights out, but it was still a favorable performance from the elite small forward.
November 13, 2009
LeBron James has announced that he is planning on changing his uniform number from 23 to six after the conclusion of the 2009-10 season, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:He says he is doing it out of respect for the greatest number 23 of them all, Michael Jordan. "He can't get the logo, and if he can't, something has to be done. I feel like no NBA player should wear 23. I'm starting a petition, and I've got to get everyone in the NBA to sign it," he said. "Now, if I'm not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it." Stay tuned.
November 12, 2009
LeBron James topped 30 points for the second straight night as the Cavs defeated the Heat 111-104. James had four rebounds and seven assists to go along with his 34 points.

Our View:LeBron went head-to-head with Dwayne Wade tonight, and his team came out on top thanks in part to his performance. An outing like this has come to be expected from LeBron at this point, so fantasy owners can expect plenty more.
November 11, 2009
LeBron James scored 36 points to lead the Cavs on Wednesday night, as Cleveland leveled a short-handed Magic squad 102-93.

Our View:A shot across the bow, perhaps? Cleveland has struggled to find some consistency early this season, but tonight's blowout win over the team that ended their season last Spring has to be a good sign of things to come.
November 11, 2009
LeBron James has announced he will no longer entertain any questions about his impending free agency for the duration of the season, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Our View:He rightfully realized they are a major distraction for all of his teammates. Don't expect his embargo to quell the over-anxious New York media, however.
November 8, 2009
LeBron James participated fully in non-contact practice for the Cavs on Sunday, according to the Akron Beacon-Journal. LeBron had his left wrist on ice after the team's last game Firday night.

Our View:It looks like LeBron shoud be fine going forward, and he showed no signs of a sore wrist on Friday, as he scored 33 points and grabbed eight rebounds. No need for fantasy owners to be concerned here.
November 6, 2009
LeBron James carried the Cavs with 33 points in Friday's 100-91 win at New York. He also collected eight rebounds, nine assists and three steals.

Our View:James also had a game-high seven turnovers, but still had a great outing for fantasy owners. He topped 30 points for the second time this season.
November 5, 2009
LeBron James led all scorers with 25 points, but it just wasn't enough as the Bulls came away with the win after an 86-85 nail-biter on Thursday.

Our View:In addition to his 25 points, King James collected seven rebounds, six assists, a steal and a blocked shot in the contest. He hit 9-of-17 shots from the field and once again looked like the most dominant player on the court. The loss has to sting for LeBron, but fantasy owners don't have anything to complain about.
November 3, 2009
LeBron James carried the Cavs in Tuesday's 102-90 win over Washington, as he scored a game-high 27 points. He also chipped in eight boards, six assists and three steals.

Our View:The NBA superstar got the job done for Cleveland, as well as fantasy owners tonight. He bounced back after only scoring 14 points in his previous outing against Charlotte.
October 31, 2009
LeBron James had his usual great all-around game on Saturday night, scoring 14 points to go along with nine assists and seven rebounds in the Cavs' 90-79 win over the Bobcats

Our View:You won't see LeBron score as few as 14 points very often, but with the Cavs allowing just 79 points, they'll take it.
October 30, 2009
LeBron James scored a game-high 24 points in Friday's 104-87 win at Minnesota, to go along with nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block. He made 2-of-3 shots from three-point range.

Our View:James didn't reach 30 points tonight, but fantasy owners should still be pleased with his statline.
October 28, 2009
LeBron James had a triple-double on Wednesday night, but couldn't stop the Cavaliers from getting off to an 0-2 start, as Cleveland lost 101-91 to the Raptors.

Our View:James had 23 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists. We know LeBron can do it all, now we need to know if his teammates can do anything.
October 27, 2009
LeBron James scored a game-high 38 points in Tuesday's 95-89 loss to the Celtics at Quicken Loans Arena. He also racked up four boards, eight assists, two steals and four blocks.

Our View:King James could not lead the Cavs to a win at home, but fantasy owners should be very pleased with his performance in the season opener.
October 22, 2009
LeBron James has said he would like to dunk on former president George W. Bush, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Our View:The answer came in response to this question from Maxim magazine: "If there was one guy on the planet you could dunk on, who would it be?" Perhaps LeBron should have just gone the more diplomatic route and said DeShawn Stevenson.
October 21, 2009
LeBron James struggled from the field a bit on Wednesday, but he still finished with 18 points in the Cavs' 96-82 loss to the Celtics. James added four assists and four rebounds in the contest.

Our View:King James was only 6-for-15 from the field, but he hit six of his eight free throws to help his cause. Not the most dominant performance for LeBron, but he will get his points regardless of how well he plays.
October 18, 2009
LeBron James has been working on his low-post moves near the basket this preseason, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:Does LeBron really need another weapon? At what point does it get unfair? This should make it even harder for the league's forwards, by and large, larger and slower than him, to defend him.
October 17, 2009
LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal are not playing in Saturday's preseason game against the Mavericks.

Our View:James is getting over the flu and there is no reason to push him in a preseason game against a weak opponent. Shaq simply is getting a night off.
October 16, 2009
NBA.com is reporting that Cavs' star LeBron James does not have the Swine flu. James returned to practice on Thursday and he believes he is over the illness.

Our View:The collective NBA can take a deep breath, because the King will be just fine. He was still a little congested on Thursday, but it looks like he will make it through. He will travel with the team for their weekend games in Texas, and he could even play in of of the two games.
October 15, 2009
LeBron James has tested positive for "Influenza A," and is awaiting test results which will tell him whether or not he has swine flu, according to ESPN. The team is already treating him as if he does.

Our View:LeBron actually returned to practice on Thursday, so his situation isn't as serious as it sounds. Even if he tests positive for it, don't expect the swine flu to have any impact on his efforts to repeat as the NBA's MVP in 2009-10.
October 14, 2009
LeBron James will sit out Wednesday night's exhibition against the Wizards with a case of the flu, according to ESPN.com. James is expcted to return to pactice later in the week.

Our View:LeBron left practice early yesterday because he wasn't feeling well, and apparently he is still a bit under the weather. He should be fine in a few days, so nothing to worry about here.
October 13, 2009
LeBron James left practice early today as he is not feeling well, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:James should be fine with just a bit of rest, but it is uncertain if he will be fit to play in Wednesday's preseason game against Washington.
October 6, 2009
LeBron James racked up 15 points in Tuesday's 92-87 preseason win over the Bobcats. He also notched one assist and two steals. He played 14:37 minutes.

Our View:James should be among the safest fantasy picks for 2009-10.
September 3, 2009
Free agent to be LeBron James again hinted on Thursday that he would like to stay in Cleveland beyond the 2009-10 season, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:It's sounding less and less likely that King James will bolt Cleveland, and his fantasy value will obviously be remarkably high wherever he plays, but one has to wonder: what kind of numbers could he put up in Mike D'Antoni's high-flying offensive system? It might be the only way his already ridiculous numbers could get even more historic. The marriage is not likely, however.
August 7, 2009
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting that LeBron James is not likely to sign a contract extension before the end of next season. "I signed a contract in 2006 with an option," he said. "It would make no sense for me to sign that contract if I didn't keep my options open. I'll let you fill in the blanks."

Our View:The Cavs were really hoping they would be able to get LeBron locked up before he hit free agency, but it doesn't look like that will be the case. This maybe opens the door to LBJ testing the market, but it still looks like he will eventually end up in Cleveland.
July 28, 2009
The Cavaliers are believed to have offered superstar forward LeBron James a three-year contract extension, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:"Believed" is the word used because no one is really sure. James can famously become a free agent next summer, and the Cavs have gone on a humongous spending and signing spree this offseason in an effort to both get better and impress their all-world forward. It might not happen this year, but expect LeBron to eventually decide to stay in Cleveland.
July 23, 2009
The AP reports that LeBron James will release a book in September chronicling his life and his difficulty handling fame at such an early age. Among other things in the book, he apparently admits to using marijuana as a high school junior.

Our View:LeBron was getting a little light in the wallet, so writing a book for millions to buy only made sense. It seems odd that at 24 years old he feels the need to write a biography, especially one that sounds as if it may be pretty revealing. James has a lot of pressure to win a championship this season, and it could make the difference on whether or not he remains with Cleveland next summer.
July 22, 2009
Video of the now infamous incident of LeBron James getting dunked on by a Xavier University student has leaked, according to Sports Illustrated.

Our View:Dunkgate may now be finally coming to its merciful end. All in all, the dunk actually isn't that impressive, making the LeBron camp's desire to cover it up all the more baffling. Coupled with his postgame snub of the Magic in the Eastern Conference finals earlier this summer, and the Chosen One's reputation has taken a bit of a hit. Hopefully it doesn't affect his play in 2009-10.
July 8, 2009
Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski will again coach the U.S. national team at the 2012 Olympics, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:This is a win for everyone involved, and greatly bolsters the United States' chances of repeating their 2008 gold medal performance in 2012.
July 7, 2009
A source close to LeBron James is telling ESPN.com that James never told Trevor Ariza he plans to stay in Cleveland long term. A source close to Ariza told a few media outlets that LeBron tried to recruit Ariza and told him he plans on staying with the Cavs past 2010.

Our View:It sounds like LeBron was just telling Ariza what he wanted to hear to get him to come to Cleveland. James wants to leave his options open for next summer, when he will become maybe the biggest free agent in NBA history. If the Cavs don't win this season, LeBron could very well be gone.
June 12, 2009
Rumors out of Cleveland and Miami say that Pat Riley may leave his positions with the Miami Heat to become the coach of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers according to Miami Herald.

Our View:The only problems are that the Cavaliers have not fired Mike Brown and Riley says he has no interest in leaving South Florida. Of course, we all know better by now than to take athletes and coaches at their word when it comes to their interest in other teams. Still, for the moment, consider this not happening. Until it is.
June 11, 2009
The New York Daily News reports cites internet reports that claim coach Mike Brown may not be back next season with the Cavaliers. Brown and the Cavs were heavy favorites to beat the Magic in the Eastern Conference Finals but lost in six games.

Our View:Brown won coach of the year this past season after winning 66 games with LeBron James in the Cavaliers. However, he was outcoached by Stan Van Gundy in the Cavs' last series. For now, the reports should be treated as rumors alone. If there were an opening for the job, seemingly any coach would want to coach LeBron.
June 4, 2009
LeBron James has been dealt a $25,000 fine for not attending the postgame news conference following Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, according to ESPN.

Our View:James admitted that he was wrong for not congratulating Orlando's players and staff after they eliminated the Cavs from the playoffs.
June 2, 2009
LeBron James underwent surgery Tuesday to remove a benign growth in his mouth, according to ESPN.

Our View:No further surgery is needed, and the Cavs expect James to make a full recovery. He was aware of the issue for several months, but delayed surgery until after the Cavs' season ended.
June 1, 2009
LeBron James will not be fined for snubbing reporters after the Cavs were eliminated in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals by the Magic, according to ESPN. NBA Spokeman Tim Frank said, "We are not going to fine LeBron for that. We have not had any issues with him before at all."

Our View:James also did not shake hands with Orlando center Dwight Howard after the disappointing exit from the playoffs. The Cavs held the best record in the regular season at 66-16.
May 31, 2009
LeBron James has stated that Cleveland's elimination from the playoffs in Game 6 of the Eastern Conferance Finals on Saturday will not impact his future in Cleveland, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:LeBron also said that he was going to take some time off from basketball and not think about his contract situation for the time being. He'll be a free agent after the 2009-10 season and could be on his way out of Cleveland if it doesn't appear that they're able to give him enough support to win multiple championships.
May 31, 2009
ESPN.com is reporting that LeBron James did not speak to reporters after the Cavs were eliminated Saturday night by the Magic. James went to the locker room, dressed quickly, and then put on headphones and walked to the team bus.

Our View:James was frustrated after the loss, and rightfully so. He was outstanding in the series, but his team gave him no help. The Cavs would love to sign him to an extension before he becomes a free agent in 2010, but that won't have a chance of happening unless they put some pieces around him.
May 30, 2009
LeBron James led the Cavs with 25 points in Saturday's 103-90 loss to Orlando in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. He also generated seven rebounds, seven assists and one block.

May 28, 2009
LeBron James and the Cavaliers stayed alive on Thursday as they beat the Magic 112-102. James posted a triple-double, with 37 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists.

Our View:LeBron put the Cavs on his shoulders tonight and willed them to victory. They will now travel to Orlando for Game 6, where they will once again be facing elimination.
May 26, 2009
LeBron James had a game-high 44 points on Tuesday night, but his Cavs fell short as they were denied in overtime by the Magic, losing 116-114. Orlando now leads the series 3-1.

Our View:James had 12 rebounds and seven assists to go along with his 44 points, but the heart and soul of the Cavs had eight turnover. Seven of them came in the fourth quarter and overtime. His two clutch free throws with 0.5 seconds left forced the extra period, but LeBron just ran out of playoff magic in OT.
May 24, 2009
LeBron James put up 41 points, but it wasn't enough as the Magic rattled off a double-digit victory over the Cavaliers on Sunday. The 99-89 win gave the Magic an unexpected 2-1 series lead.

Our View:LeBron had seven rebounds and nine assists to go along with his 41 points. LeBron lead all scorers, but his outside shot just wasn't working on Sunday. He was 11-of-28 from the field and a miserable 1-of-8 from downtown. He also missed six of his 24 free throws. LeBron can do it all, but he was just a bit off tonight and he didn't get much help.
May 22, 2009
LeBron James hit perhaps the biggest shot of his career to give the Cavaliers a 96-95 win over the Magic in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. He took an inbounds pass with one second left and hit a 26-foot three-pointer to give them the win. He finished with 35 points, five assists, and four rebounds in the game.

Our View:As long as there are LeBron James highlight reels, this shot will be included in them. The shot tied the series at one and gives the Cavs a load of momentum heading into Game 3.
May 21, 2009
LeBron James was huge for the Cavs on Wednesday, but his team was upset by the Magic in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals 107-106. James score 49 points and added six rebounds and eight assists.

Our View:LeBron was awesome tonight, but his team gave up a big lead to drop Game 1. It's too bad that this performance was wasted, but LeBron and the Cavs are still feeling very good about their chances.
May 13, 2009
The All-NBA First-Team has been announced, according to the Associated Press. Forward LeBron James (Cavs) headlines the list, which also includes Kobe Bryant (Lakers), center Dwight Howard (Magic), Dwyane Wade (Heat) and Dirk Nowitzki (Mavs).

Our View:James was also named the NBA MVP, and was selected to the All-NBA First-Team for the second straight season. James, Howard, Bryant and Nowitzki are all still playing in the postseason, while Wade's Heat were eliminated in Round 1 by Atlanta.
May 11, 2009
LeBron James scored 27 points with eight rebounds and eight assists in Cleveland's Game 4 win over Atlanta, leading the Cavs to their second-straight sweep. James shot 9-of-22 from the field, 3-of-6 on three-pointers and 6-of-9 on free throws.

May 9, 2009
LeBron James went off on Saturday. He poured in 47 points and had 12 boards in the Cavaliers' 97-82 win over the Hawks. Cleveland now has a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Our View:There seems to be no end to what LeBron can do. He was 15-of-25 from the field and hit 5-of-10 from downtown on Saturday and he now has 108 total points in the three games in the series. LeBron has eight assists, a steal and a blocked shot in the game as well.
May 7, 2009
LeBron James scored a game-high 27 points in Cleveland's 105-85 win over the Hawks on Thursday. He hit 9-of-14 from the field while chipping in five assists, three rebounds, four steals, a block and three three-pointers, including a half-court shot at the end of the first half.

Our View:James and the Cavaliers are making a joke of the Hawks, but he will likely face more competition if the Hawks get Marvin Williams and Al Horford back in Game 3. If not, the Cavs will have to wait another round before they face any competition.
May 5, 2009
LeBron James did it again on Tuesday. He put up 34 points, ten rebounds and three assists in the Cavs' Game One 99-72 win over the Hawks.

Our View:James was 12-of-20 shooting, including 2-of-6 from behind the arc, and also racked up four steals in the game. He has put up at least 25 points in every playoff game this season and has topped 30 three times. As expected, he has been Cleveland's best player every night.
May 4, 2009

April 26, 2009
LeBron James was the most dominant man on the hardwood once again Sunday. He was just two assists short of a triple-double as he put up 36 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists in the Cavaliers' 99-78 win over the Pistons. Cleveland swept the first round series 4-0.

Our View:It's getting to the point where it seems unfair. That's how good this kid is, and we stress "kid". LeBron was 10-of-24 shooting and also chipped in with two steals and a blocked shot. He was fouled early and often, but hit 16 of his 17 free throw attempts.
April 24, 2009
LeBron James was an assist shy of a triple-double on Friday in helping the Cavaliers to a 79-68 victory over the Pistons. James finished with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists in the contest.

Our View:Another typical LeBron performance, and another win by the Cavs. LBJ and company look unstoppable so far in the postseason, and they are now one victory from advancing to the second round.
April 20, 2009
Mike Brown has been named the NBA Coach of the Year for 2008-09, according to Sports Illustrated.

Our View:Brown earned the honor by leading the Cavaliers to the best record in the NBA at 66-16. They went 39-2 at home, which marked the most successful regular season in franchise history. They currently hold a 1-0 lead in the first round of the playoffs against Detroit.
April 18, 2009
As expected, LeBron James dominated in his first game of the 2009 NBA playoffs. He was good for 38 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as the Cavaliers whipped the Pistons 102-84.

April 15, 2009

April 13, 2009
LeBron James scored 37 points while posting five rebounds, five assists, and a steal in Monday's 117-109 win over the Pacers.

Our View:Every game still counts for the Cavaliers as they would like to finish the season with the best record, guaranteeing home court throughout the entire playoffs. They are currently one game ahead of the Lakers.
April 12, 2009
LeBron James scored 29 points in 30 minutes while leading the Cavs to a dominant 107-76 win over the Celtics on Sunday. He added seven assists, five three-pointers, four rebounds, a block and a steal in the win.

Our View:James hit all six of his free-throw attempts and 5-of-8 from three-point range. He has hit only 34 percent of his threes this season, but often falls in love with the shot.
April 10, 2009
LeBron James had another strong outing Friday as the Cavs trumped the Sixers 102-92. He was good for 27 points, two rebounds and ten assists.

Our View:The 27 points and ten assists were great for fantasy owners, but James failed to show up in the rebound department. Sure, we may be getting greedy here, but for a man that averages 7.7 a game you expect more than two. Plus, expectations for LeBron are higher than most.
April 5, 2009
LeBron James dropped 38 points off 14-of-21 shooting and 8-of-8 from the free throw line with two three-pointers, seven rebounds and six assists while leading Cleveland to a 20-point blowout win over San Antonio on Sunday.

Our View:James' 38 points were his highest since mid-March. While his scoring had been a bit down of late, he remains one of the kings of the fantasy hoops world.
April 3, 2009
LeBron James shot 7-of-20 from the field to finish Cleveland's 116-87 blowout loss in Orlando with 26 points. He also added five assists and nine rebounds.

Our View:James' 35-percent shooting performance was his worst showing since finishing a win over Miami on Mar. 7 with a 33-percent clip.
April 2, 2009
LeBron James made 11 of his 18 attempts from the field, including 4-of-8 from long range, and finished Cleveland's 109-101 loss to the Wizards with a game-high 31 points.

Our View:LeBron has averaged 26.3 points a game this season against Washington. However, oddly enough, the Cavs have lost each of the contests in which James has scored at least 30, but they won when he scored just 18 on Christmas Day.
March 31, 2009
LeBron James led all scorers in the Cavs 79-73 win over the Pistons. He had 25 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and three assists Tuesday.

March 29, 2009
LeBron James scored a game-high 24 points and 12 assists in Sunday's 102-74 win over the Mavericks, to go along with six boards, two blocks and one steal. He did not have any turnovers.

March 27, 2009
LeBron James recorded another double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds in Cleveland's 107-85 wins. He also tacked on seven assists.

Our View:This was James' tenth double-double this month and he continues to wow fans and fantasy owners alike.
March 25, 2009
LeBron James led all scorers with 22 points and racked up eight rebounds and 11 assists Wednesday night. He was 7-of-14 from the field, hit the only three-pointer he attempted and was a perfect 7-of-7 from the line.

Our View:With tonight's game James joined Oscar Robertson as the only players in NBA history to accrue 2,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists a year for at least three seasons. James' hall of fame march continues. It's hard to believe he's only 24 years old.
March 23, 2009

March 21, 2009
LeBron James chipped in 22 points in Saturday's 102-96 win over Atlanta, with seven boards, five assists, three steals and one block.

Our View:This was another strong all-around performance from King James, who was coming off a triple-double against Portland.
March 19, 2009
LeBron James registered a triple-double in Thursday's 97-92 win over Portland. The MVP-candidate finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks, a steal, and no turnovers.

Our View:Perhaps the most impressive thing about the King's stat line tonight was that he made no turnovers. Through 68 games this year, he has 208 turnovers.
March 17, 2009
LeBron James scored 43 points to compliment 12 rebounds and eight assists in a come from behind win over the Magic.

Our View:LeBron continues to dominate. His team is still on top in the Eastern Conference and he has vaulted himself into the favorite spot for this year's MVP.
March 15, 2009
LeBron James limited the scoring this time against the Knicks, but he was still able to lead his team to a 98-93 win on Sunday. He finished with 19 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds, four steals, and three blocks.

Our View:Even when James fails to score 20, he is still able to produce some luscious stat lines. The Cavs are currently 3.5 games ahead of the Celtics for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, and that fact might be the determining factor in awarding James his first league MVP.
March 14, 2009
LeBron James scored a game-high 51 points at ARCO Arena in Sacramento Friday night to lead the Cavaliers to a 126-123 triumph over the Kings.

Our View:James has been off the charts since struggling to a 14-point performance against Miami last Saturday. In his last three games, he has averaged 39 points and 11 assists.
March 13, 2009
Updating previous reports, LeBron James is listed as probable Friday night against Sacramento with a left knee contusion, according to PA Sportsticker.

Our View:James suffered the injury against Phoenix last night but continued to play and is fully expected to suit up against Sacramento as he attempts for a fourth-straight triple-double. Needless to say, it'd probably be in your best interest to have him active in your lineup.
March 13, 2009
LeBron James' availability for Cleveland's contest against Sacramento Friday night is in a bit of doubt after he nicked up his left leg against Phoenix on Thursday, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Our View:In a post-game interview on Thursday, James said that he'd ice his leg and receive treatment before making a decision regarding whether or not he can play Friday. It seems like he should be able to give it a go and make an attempt at a fourth-straight triple-double, although it's worth checking in before game-time to make sure if you happen to own him.
March 13, 2009
LeBron James logged his third-straight triple-double, his sixth this year, with 34 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds against Phoenix on Thursday.

Our View:James' production didn't end there, as he made three three-pointers, was 11-for-13 from the free throw line and had three blocks and three steals. James has been asked if he thought he could ever match Oscar Robertson's feat of averaging a triple-double over an entire season, and while that still seems highly unlikely, this three-game stretch does show that it would at least be within the realm of possibility.
March 11, 2009
LeBron James got his fifth triple-double this season after scoring 32 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, and dishing out 11 assists on Tuesday.

Our View:James recorded his second straight triple-double and accounted for almost 37 percent of the total points for Cleveland. James continues to be a fantasy MVP this season.
March 7, 2009
LeBron James put up 14 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds against Miami on Saturday, accounting for his fourth triple-double of the season.

Our View:Believe it or not, it was actually a below-average fantasy performance for James, as the 12 assists were just five above his season average and the 10 rebounds just three more than normal, while he fell 14 points short of his season average, had just one block and one steal, both below his season average, and shot 5-for-15 from the field and 4-for-7 from the free throw line while failing to make a three-pointer. Needless to say, you know you have a stud if his triple-double comes as a disappointment.
March 6, 2009

LeBron James caught fire as the Cavs bested the Heat 107-100 on Monday. He hit 6-of-7 three-pointers and all 10 of his free throws on his way to 42 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

Our View:James out-dueled Dwyane Wade for the win. Most impressive was that he only needed 21 shots to reach 42 points. When The King's three-point shot is on like it was tonight, there's nobody better in the game. However, he was only hitting 32 percent of his treys entering tonight's game.
March 1, 2009
LeBron James led the Cavs to a one point win on Sunday in Atlanta, scoring 26 points to go with 11 assists, six rebounds, two blocks, and one steal.

February 27, 2009
LeBron James had 30 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, three treys, and two steals as the Cavaliers won 97-86 in San Antonio on Friday.

Our View:Without Ben Wallace around for the next couple months, look for LeBron to get more active on the boards.
February 26, 2009
LeBron James scored 21 points on 7-of-21 shooting as Cleveland lost 93-74 to the Rockets Thursday night at Toyota Center. He failed to record an assist in a game for the first time in his career.

Our View:It was an all-around bad game for the Cavs Thursday night. The team turned in season-lows in points, field-goal percentage, and assists.
February 24, 2009
LeBron James scored just 15 points in the Cavs' 94-79 win over Memphis on Tuesday. He added a team-high eight assists.

Our View:It is just the third time in the last 24 games that James did not score 20 points or more. Even the best can have an off night shooting the rock.
February 22, 2009
LeBron James and the Cavs beat the Pistons 99-78, as he scored 20 points to go with nine assists and five rebounds.

Our View:LeBron sandwiched his double-nickel performance with two 20-point efforts. And like his previous 20-point game, he was 0-for-3 from three-point range.
February 21, 2009
LeBron James was on fire on Friday night, recording 55 points, nine assists, and five rebounds. A good portion of his points resulted from him shooting 8-of-11 shots from three-point land.

February 18, 2009

February 15, 2009
LeBron James shot 8-of-19 from the floor to finish with a team-high 20 points as the East fell to the West 146-119 in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix.

February 12, 2009
Cavs' coach Mike Brown has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for his negative comments directed at official Joey Crawford following Tuesday night's 96-95 loss to the Pacers, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. February 10, 2009
Despite LeBron James' 47-point performance on 15-of-21 shooting Tuesday night the Cavaliers fell to the Pacers 96-95 Conseco Fieldhouse. However, it was James' controversial foul on Danny Granger with 0.2 seconds remaining that allowed Indiana the victory and gave Cleveland its first two-game losing streak of the season.

Our View:Cleveland's loss Tuesday is particularly surprising given LeBron had his most proficient shooting night of the season (71 percent). One explanation may be that his teammates weren't holding up their ends of the bargain, as evidence by James' four assists, which nearly matches a season-low.
February 8, 2009

February 7, 2009
Los Angeles Lakers head coach Phil Jackson had a few pointed comments for Cavaliers forward LeBron James on Friday. The Orange County Register reports that Jackson fumed about James' pregame chalk-dust routine and stated that he gets preferential treatment from the refs while playing in Cleveland. "They (the fans) all wear No. 23 and help him throw that (expletive) up in the air when he's at the scorer's desk. He gets away with murder, on top of it, on his home court."

Our View:Things should get mighty interesting when the Lakers square off against the Cavs Sunday at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
February 6, 2009
LeBron James's amazing 52-point triple-double against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday no longer exists, according to the Associated Press. One of James' 10 rebounds has now been credited to teammate Ben Wallace, taking James down to nine rebounds and just a terrific double-double.

Our View:James' performance was still amazing as he came close to a 50-point triple-double, a feat that hasn't been accomplished since Kareem Abdul-Jabar accomplished it in 1975. We wouldn't put it past James to actually reach this single-game milestone someday.
February 4, 2009

Our View:A lot of hype surrounded LeBron in this game and he certainly answered. The Knicks gave up 61 points to Kobe in their last game, and it's becoming pretty evident that they are not capable of shutting down the league's superstars. We'll take an educated guess and call this the most points ever recorded in a triple-double performance.
February 3, 2009

February 1, 2009
LeBron James scored a game-high 33 points on 12-of-25 shooting and added eight assists Sunday in the Cavaliers' 90-80 win over conference rival Detroit at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Our View:James has 18 turnovers in his last three games and his free throw shooting appears to be on the decline. Don't expect him to slump for long, but his efficiency of late has been poor.
