November 7, 2009 SI.com is reporting that Pistons' forward Tayshaun Prince will be out indefinitely due to a small rupture of a disk in his lower back. Prince will continue to receive treatment for the injury. Our View:Prince has missed a few games already with the injury, but an MRI confirmed the rupture over the weekend. Fantasy owners need to prepare to be without for the near future, and we will update his status when more info becomes available. |

Prince is expected to be ready for the season-opener next week. Our View:Prince should be fine when the regular season opens, but it looks like he could very wll miss the next few preseason games. He should put up numbers very similar to his 14.2 points and 5.8 rebounds of last season, so he should be a decent fantasy option. |

Our View:Prince played around 38 minutes in Game 1 against Cleveland Saturday, and coach Michael Curry expects him to be OK. Curry could cycle a variety of defenders on LeBron James if Prince does not feel better by Game 2, though. |
