March 8, 2010 Tony Parker will not need surgery to repair his broken hand but is still expected to be out the next six weeks, according to ESPN's Our View:This bodes well for the Spurs' chances to get Parker back in time for the playoffs, though Parker's fantasy season still seems to be over. Feel free to drop Parker at this point, as it seems unlikely he'll be logging any more games in the regular season. |

March 7, 2010 Tony Parker seems likely to miss the rest of the regular season after breaking a bone in his right hand on Saturday night, according to the Our View:Six weeks would put him out until at least mid-April, when the NBA's regular season comes to a close. You might want to wait on dropping Parker for another day or two until we get a more official diagnosis from a doctor, though the outlook clearly is not looking good. Parker could be back in time to help the Spurs in the playoffs, though his disappointing 2009-10 fantasy campaign seems to have come to a close. |
