According to Mike Wells on Twitter, Troy Murphy will not play in Tuesday's game against the Nets due to a back injury.

Our View:Wells is close to returning, but just isn't in game shape yet. He practiced on Monday, so expect him to get into a contest sometime this week. Consider him day-to-day for now.

According to the Pacers' official website, big man Troy Murphy is not expected to play Saturday against the Celtics. Murphy has missed three games due to a back injury.

Our View:There was some hope in Indy that Murphy would be able to return tonight, but it's not looking like he will be able to do so. He should be back this week, so fantasy owners need to sit tight and be patient.

Our View:Murphy is off to a slow, injury-plagued start this season, averaging just 8.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in three games. After appearing in at least 73 games both of the past two seasons, Murphy looks like he could be returning to his injury-ravaged ways.

Our View:Murphy suffered the injury in Tuesday's game, and his back is still extremely sore. We will update his status before tip-off tomorrow night, but owners should have another option ready to go.

Our View:Murphy should be able to return in a few days, but the back was sore enough today that the team expects him to remain on the sidelines. Fantasy owners will probably want to get someone else in your lineup for tonight, so move quickly and get him out.

Our View:Murphy has been dealing with a minor ankle injury this preseason, but it didn't appear to inhibit him on Thursday. The 29-year-old forward/center averaged a double-double last season, and will probably do so again in 2009-10.

Our View:Murphy was sitting out mainly as a precautionary measure, and he should be fine going forward. Murph averaged 14.3 points last season, and he looks to be in store for another nice season.

Our View:The knee is no longer an issue as Murphy had a great game on Sunday. He's scored 15, 19 and now 22 points in his three games since returning from injury. The boards are there as well with totals of 12, 13 and nine respectively.

Our View:Murphy is a go. Get him into your lineup as he has averaged a double-double this season. He is expected to play 30+ minutes Tuesday. Not bad considering he was supposed to miss the rest of the season.

Our View:An MRI on Thursday showed no structural damage, but Murphy is apparently experiencing a great deal of pain. He'll remain day-to-day for now, though there's no guaranteed date as to when he'll return.

Our View:This is bad news as Murphy has been a rebound machine this year and is averaging a double-double for the season. Knee injuries don't usually go away easily, so expect him to miss more time down the road.

Our View:Murphy now has recorded seven consecutive double-doubles. He also snapped a three-game streak in which he only made one three-pointer as he hit four in Sunday's game.

Our View:Murphy shot just 1-for-6 from three-point range for the second streight game. He had been leading the league in threes made this month, but it appears his hot streak is wearing off.

Our View:Murphy is having a huge season for the Pacers. Over his past four games, he has been stellar in averaging 20 points and 16.25 rebounds. For the month of February, he has hit 28-of-57 (49.1 percent) from three-point range.

Our View:It should come as no surprise that Murphy shot the ball well tonight against Cleveland. In three games this season versus Lebron and the Cavs, he has hit 66 percent (16 of 24) of his shots, including six of his 10 attempts from long range.

Our View:Murphy is quietly having one of the best fantasy seasons of any power forward, but it's highly unlikely he'll receive any All-Star consideration. To date, he has been one of the most rewarding players for his average draft position.
