Wood gave up three runs in 1.2 innings of relief on Wednesday night, and figures to be back with the team when rosters expand in September, if not sooner.

Our View:
Wood fills the DL-bound Burke Badenhop's spot on Florida's roster. He'll be used in middle relief and has no fantasy value.

Our View:
No corresponding move has been announced yet. Wood didn't allow a run in 7.2 innings after being called up, and will likely be back at some point this season. He has no fantasy value at this time.

The Miami Herald reports that the Marlins have recalled right-hander Tim Wood from Triple-A.
Our View:
Wood was brought up to replace the injured Kiko Calero. He has been a prospect on the cusp of contributing for the Marlins, but has yet to make an impact. This is his opportunity, but he likely won't stick around long.

Our View:
Wood earned his promotion with a 0.54 ERA over 16.2 innings of relief in the minors, with 17 strikeouts. He should help the Marlins' bullpen, and is worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues that feature middle men.
